No it's not. If you watch the entire video the damage buff once active starts at 5% and scales up as your opponent gets weaker to 30% I think. He goes on to demonstrate that it doesnt kill faster or even give enough of a damage buff to make the gun more forgiving. If your using a high rate of fire pulse it still takes 3 bursts to kill a guardian with or without the helmet. It only actually works in pve. And in pvp it's only good for the tracking which is useful. The fix is to give it a flat buff instead of it scaling like that. Or extend its tracking duration OR a complete rework.

I’m talking smgs and ars. It does make a difference on 600rpm plus archetypes.
