Why are some armor sets not compatible witht he transmog system? they have the rolls like the new armor but you cant change the look of them? that's a huge missed opportunity in my opinion bungie
-
Yeah it shouldn't. You should be able to see what the other team is running. I want to know how many Invaders or Sentries they have.
-
The lack of a full transmog system is a missed opportunity.
-
Pretty sure it’s so your teammates in GP can understand what role you play and etc.
-
That’s the one set that had a massive effect on the game more. I’m sure they want the other team to be able to tell if you have a set or not kinda like the glow activating. I’m sure that’s for a reason.
-
It's for identifying roles. I don't want to inspect the whole other team to figure out what role they are playing. Plus the gear looks sweet anyways, why would you want to cover that up.
-
I figured the reason would be obvious to anyone. The reason why is because Gambit Prime has roles. And the armor showing off the snake color shows off what role you are to your team and the enemy team. So both teams know what they're working with. If you transmog... that snake glow wouldn't be there. So then guess what who knows what your job is! "Guys I'm an invader, why are you invading?!" Well cause I don't see you in an invader armor set... "I'M WEARING IT RIGHT NOW!" ... really? Cause to me you're wearing the Halloween set. "Well duh, the Invader armor is ugly..." So, how do we know if you're an invader if we don't see your armor?
-
If it wasnt absolutely ugly on hunters, i wouldnt mind
-
It’s as if people have forgotten what the Reckoning armor is, it’s very distinguishable for a reason.
-
Thank you! I noticed this the other day, but doubted that many people would care like I do.
-
With reckoning armor it would be because they don’t want players to have an in game bonus in the gambit but be able to spring it on your enemy. In the opening area you can look across, see someone has armor that fill give them extra perks in prime, and react accordingly. It’s the same reason why exotics can’t use legendary ornaments.
-
Editado por Lull9: 11/11/2019 10:28:32 AMThey need to turn the reckoning armor into "functional" ornaments that give the appearance and benefit to any armor piece. No one even wears it anymore. Who can be bothered to maintain a prime set for a mediocre, dead activity with everything else there is?
-
So your role is visible to everyone
-
Editado por TattooedOni: 11/11/2019 2:31:36 AMIt’s so your *role is visible to your team.
-
Everything should be available for transmog. I also think old armor should be added as ornaments.
-
All armor should be available for transmog once it's out of season.
-
Reckoning is a kind of a waste now, I think the armor should drop directly from Gambit Prime (like the weapons do now), and cut out the bottom two tiers of armor.
-
Editado por TJ_Dot: 11/10/2019 11:52:00 PMThey could have adjusted them to be condensed into one new set that changed the role like a mod, adjusting the glow as needed. Cost synths to change. Not like anyone is short on them really, besides maybe new players.
-
Probably because of the benefits they give in gambit prime. I’d really fing hate having to inspect every person to find out if one of them is a 15+ invader.
-
Editado por Erijian: 11/10/2019 10:08:37 PMBecause they're "Set Bonus" armor pieces and it's important to be able to identify what pieces they are while in-game just like Exotics.

Dude after season of drifter bungie doesnt care gambit anymore. İ have a only dredgen and reckoner title grinded so i am a huge fun of a gambit. Sad but true bungie is not responce any gambit topic. A couple of examples exist. One of them gambit has not got any iron baner like event.gambit ha not got any token to gamble from drifter. As you said there is no armor ornament and no extra slot for other armor mods... Long story short, dont expect too much things about gambit. Everything tied to 980 nightfall grind in current state.
