They already did that, remember Thorn quest and the traditional PvE grind part of the quest? it was even shaped as a one plus even the old D1 had it, you had the alternative to do it in PvP this time around.

Well if you are being a asshole (your words not mine) to prove a different opinion, it kind of has some seriousness to it, anyway independently of how silly OP's complaint may or may not be, i am not agreeing or disagreeing with you on that, OP would probably agree 100% with you about having a choice to opt out of PvE as it would mean they too would have a choice to opt out of PvP, so that kind of goes no where when it comes to prove how silly the OP may be, i think. Taking into account my previous reply and this one... well i want to clarify that i wasn't nor am i trying to go against you nor am i in agreement with OP complaint, just pointing out that the "you know they’re not gonna do that." was already done. You’re all good, no worries here. I’m just tired of people complaining about PVP steps in quests. Like, I get it, Crucible is a flaming hot dumpster fire right now. Broken special and heavy ammo economies, a stale meta, stupidly broken Supers and a handful of Exotics (looking at you, OEM)... like, it sucks. But, if Bungie removes PVP steps from quests, or creates PVE alternatives, then it would only be fair to remove PVE steps or give PVP alternatives. However, that’s such a ridiculous idea that it’ll never happen, and therefore it’d be unfair to change PVP quest steps.
