The format is the time gated release not the insane power gating.
It's too soon for us to make a proper review of the actual format but the power gating which is a separate issue entirely is total bullshit

Wait till the first week of the next season to play this season, huge power jump, no more issues. In the mean time, play something else and hope you still remain interested enough to return in 3 months...

Im not disagreeing the power jump is drastic. Ive been content with the amount and quality of content released so far but its really not safe to make a proper judgement just yet. I dont think the time gating is good necessarily but so far its not been bad. Im more concerned with the actual quality.

They made a game during a time when players were vocally disappointed which allowed no one to play on release. I’d say ‘quality’ is no longer their priority...

If you are talking about the quality of a release, it doesn’t have it. As for release mistakes: how many do you allow/tolerate? For me it is like Baseball, 3 strikes... And, I hate watching Baseball, all that spitting!
