Yes I agree that there are a ton of faults with the game as I have pointed out. The eververse is just a bad place to really point this much effort. Lets take elder scrolls online. Look at the huge amount of bs you can buy. Also the content with the original purchase is insane compared. Every single category you can grade a game on basically they kill it compared. I enjoy destiny. I like the game play, the raids are fun. But the content of the base game is laughable, and the dlc is a joke. Mercury is a joke.

It’s not about the 5 year old kid going after the shaders. It’s about the fact that all the good items in the game is in eververse. Look at vault of glass or Crotas end from D1. Cosmetics could be earned and not bought. I want the ship that I have to mean something. I want the armor I have to have a story. “I went through hell and back to get this armor and that’s why I look like a savage!” Not “I bought it with money.” Eververse is fine but the fact that it’s expanding is wrong. Emotes and ghosts are ok and even a few shaders but what there doing is insane. I’m not spending my hard earned money for a 2% chance at that emote I want and instead of grinding public events I to get the engrams I want to raid. Eververse can stay around but for everything they put in that store than 3 things need to be added to the world space, not the other way around. Engrams need to be 3x easier to earn and things in the store need to be 40% less expensive. It’s a cash grab and it’s wrong because the best stuff is locked behind it

NO BEARING ON GAMEPLAY!?!?!? The whole leveling system is built around it!!! The entire end game is built around it!!! Raid, strikes and other bull crap give you scratch compared to Tess. I agree that there are other things to fix. But seeing as people are most angry about Tess it should be too priority. The biggest problem is lack of content. Content takes time to make. Tess may be further done the list but it would take 1000x less effort on Bungie’s part to fix that then let’s say make a raid. It’s easier to remove content then to create it. With something that’s completely restricting end game content and is Bungie’s level system it’s very important to either A) change or B) Remove. If you can’t see how tied up Eververse is in end game content and how that does effect gameplay then it’s clear to me now that your nothing more than a destiny fan boy that doesn’t care about the product that’s thrown in front of you. The dawning gives you 4 free engrams. It would take a total of 45 engrams to get everything (not including repeats which we both know will happen). This means that the only way to get things is by paying for them. The average person ain’t paying for that which blocks it off. Also I’m not against buying social status, but I prefer the term earning. For instance I work at a HVAC company. If I install a furnace then I make money. Our warehouse guy doesn’t do much, in fact, the extent of his work is taking out trash cans and then sitting around all day. The way it works, I work harder and get paid more than he does because he works less. Thus, I have the ability to buy better things such as a nice new car, maybe a new coat of paint for the house, I might even be able to get a hot girlfriend cause, you know, chicks dig cash (part of the reason I covered in them). Now our warehouse guy doesn’t work as hard, which equals less money. This results in less quality stuff. He also doesn’t work as many hours which equals less money. This leaves him with less money to buy the best things in life like I can. IMPORTANT!!!-Now from what iv gathered from your last post I’m going to put it into this scenario. If you really want then I’ll meet you half way. At the very least it needs a rework. A game should not be centered around loot box’s and PAID dlc. Either one or the other and since its impossible to ask Bungie to give us dlc for free then I guess the better option is to fix or remove Tess. R6, overwatch, both these games are great games like D2. However R6 and overwatch don’t have a revolt on there hands. Why is that? That’s because they realize the value of there players and figured we either need micro transaction or paid dlc, not both. Bungie needs to follow suit because it would make the end game activities more fun and meaningful.
