Greed? as in profitable business sure we see it as a shit business practice but Activision is in it primarily to make money and expand their business and net worth year after year.
Hell our government politicians are on more than a quarter a mill for life even once retired
The company I work for made 800 mill profit last finacial year primarily by increasing consumer costs but is also reinvesting close to 3/4 of those earnings into renewable energy plant and r&d the rest? Likely lines the coffers of the GM and board of directors and other key stakeholders.

Yes, greed. There is nothing wrong with calling it what it is. Humans are greedy primates, hardwired to seek maximum reward for minimal effort. But frankly, no man or woman needs two billion dollars. There’s not an economy in the world were that’s needed to live beyond well. But selfish monkeys be selfish monkeys.

Agreed, but that goes for all of us... hell many of us are also overweight and consume much more than we require. Even owning the technology to play games is a form of entitlement and greed (why dont we instead share our wealth with those with nothing?) as well as those wanting free or cheaper content over paid.
