I have horrible news...
EA....
They bought my beloved Respawn Entertainment.
Now Respawn will be forced to put loot boxes and all that other horrible stuff into Titanfall 3... One of the last good independent Developers is gone.
You had a good run Respawn... But $400 million was too much to pass up.

1 ResponderI remain reservedly optimistic. Think of respawn's talent magnified by ea's almost limitless wallet. If this goes well.. Ive been saying for years that respawn will make titanfall the next big thing. This could be the breakthrough.

1 ResponderWhen I heard this, I could actually feel tears in my eyes. Titanfall 2 is one of my favourite FPS’s and Respawn is one of my favourite developers. I really hope EA doesn’t -blam!- them over, I still have faith. And let’s look on the bright side, at least it wasn’t Activision.

I trust Respawn. I think that they will keep Titanfall how it is already. However I don't trust EA so I really don't know what is going to happen.

2 RespostasPeople keep saying stuff like “rip respawn” however, people, we are talking about Vince Zampella’s crew here boys and girls. This is the guy who got fired buy Activision, and met with a skeleton crew of other devs to make an ambitious new ip with next to 0 budget until Microsoft decided to support them. EA can’t kill them. Activision tried, and they, like their namesake suggests, just respawned with a full ammo clip. Good luck killing this team EA
