Bungie, please don't try to compromise. You're losing us.

I'm a destiny 1 player and have honestly been so excited to play d2. I followed every twitch, interview, and news bite in anticipation of its release. Unfortunately, it seems as though bungie have decided to compromise between content for the casual player and the those who love the grind which to be honest, isn't working. I've almost played all the content that d2 has had to offer up until now and feel like the game is drawing to a close for me. If the game is truly to lean more towards the casual player then there should also be content available which is at least more challenging or has far better rewards for long play time. If you compromise you will ultimately lose one audience, and they can't both be given the same content and have both playstyles fulfilled. Things like the soft caps on token collection and chest contents is basically saying to those who kept the game going for three years that they're now surplus to requirements. D1 was all about the grind and its sequel just doesn't seem to be offering the same hook. With no date confirmed for iron banner and the dlc dropping in December, it feel it might be reluctantly time to move on, even until the dlc does drop. By that time though many players including myself may have found a replacement.
