This week on the nightfall you're looking for glowing blue Square things. They are in the area you spawn and also in the dark ship area before boss and dotted around the level as well. Did you notice of the burns were active as that might be why boss wouldn't die. He's also annoying to kill since he disappears. There is a glitch ATM where you can shoot him when he's on the wall which makes him fall off and die.
