Vex Mythoclast:
Patch 1.2.0.2 reintroduced a Fusion Rifle patch that was applied to the Vex Mythoclast back in 1.1.1
While patching the Fusion Rifles, Bungie also nerfed the Vex Mythoclast.
The weapons firing cone is far greater than the reticle and does not reliably land shots where you are aiming.
If you don't buff the Vex to its 1.2.0.1 glory you should at least make it have the firing cone of 1.2.0.1 but have less damage in Crucible as in PvE this weapon doesn't feel like an exotic any more and I miss the High Accuracy.
Fusion Rifle:
When you unpatched the fusion rifles in 1.2.0.1 by mistake there was a more balanced use of guns (Vex Mythoclast/Fusion rifles were being used more commonly again). since you patched them again I rarely see them used in crucible.
Auto Rifle:
When you buffed the Pulse Rifles you didn't need to Nerf the Auto Rifles. The Auto Rifle Nerf made Auto Rifles a Definite no to use in Crucible. I hate Crucible now because my favorite type of gun is unusable and the Vex made up for that but then you patched that.
I believe if you add these changes to crucible you will have a larger variety of weapons being used. Yeah some people will rage when they get owned but you won't be punishing players who like that class of gun. Stop Nerfing weapons that don't need Nerfing!

Here is my opinion on how to fix Weapon balancing (Very similar to this post but without a poll)

Here is my opinion on the Vex Mythoclast Nerf:

In my opinion I don't think Bungie reads anything on this forum as I have seen hundreds of posts but not one response from bungie, Its just a place for people to rant and rave about destiny without them having to read it.
Please put the time in just to say you have read this post by Liking and/or putting your opinion. Thanks for reading.

Vex and auto rifles need a major buff extremely bad

Follow this link to sign to get the Vex fixed, it's a petition I've made, I want to see how many signatures we can get.

Love the vex make it accurate again please

NONE of the Above

-
I still love fusion rifles
-
Vex and Fusions were not nerfed after the DLC and nobody said word one! Fix them by putting them back to prior 1.1.1
-
-
I say reset everything back to the base and nerf the stupidity of everyone that cries nerf
-
R.I.P. Suros Regime. We had tons of fun wrecking noobs together then bungie changed your ammo clip to nerf darts. Auto rifles and vex most definitely need to be put back to normal. Couldn't care less about fusion rifles because I only use sniper.
-
I'm in the same boat dude. They nerf every gun I like...auto rifles, my vex and my fusion rifles. You mentioned that if they fixed these guns they'd see a wide variety of guns being used in crucible...sad truth is that I don't think they care to see that. They want to see us use the guns they want us to use. Which is thorn, pulse rifles and shotguns.
-
I totally agree with you bro well put.
-
The vex needs the bug that cauaes it to charge like a normal fusion fixing, the ARs need the nerf undoing, fusions still need tweaking, buffing the charge times but nerfing the distance and the spread just a tad so the work faster but at closer range but the spread making it more viable for taking down groups at close range
-
Also, Monte Carlo and Suros are both practically useless in ranked PvP like ToO because the other team will just use high-impact snipers w/ Final Round, Thorn, TLW, and rockets to immediately wreck you. Even landing all headshots at range with Suros ends with me dead vs. Thorn and the other guy still has half health or more.
-
Well, in Iron Banner I couldn't get a single kill with a legendary Fusion rifle that appeared to have almost double the range, greater reload speed, medium charge rate, and twice the mag of my Dry Rot 32 shotgun w/Full Auto. The problem being, the Fusion Rifle needs to be used at close/medium range. That's fine, but a higher-range shotgun will insta-kill you. Meanwhile, the Fusion Rifle can't even down a person in one hit from medium range due to the projectiles(mostly) not hitting the target. Close range? Forget it, by the time you half-charge you're dead. Although my 77 Wizard w/rangefinder I kept from the OG build still wrecks house if I get the jump on somebody. The low-impact obscene rate of fire Dry Rot 32 destroyed people with high-impact shotguns if they were caught off guard or missed their first shot.
-
I don't use fusion rifles except outside the vex, so I can't speak for them. Therefore I only say unnerf vex and autos. Hell, I say unnerf vex to its 1.0 glory only lowering its damage in crucible. I just want to have fun with it in PvE while still being a viable weapon in endgame activities.
-
Sorry but vex is still a powerhouse no need to be brought back into thorn status.
-
I love how there isn't a "none" option. If there was, this poll would be a lot different.
-
Suros suros suros suros....... Did I mention SUROS!!!!!! Lol
-
The vex wasn't severely nerfed it's still a powerful solid choice for a primary. Fusion rifles are good at what they are suppose to be, mid range weapons. They shouldn't be able to snipe and they should lose to shotguns in close range. Auto rifles desperately need buffed considering they are complete dog shit now and not at all a viable option.
-
If they buffed both fusion rifles and vex the vex would get a double buff
-
I just think it's funny that bungie's reasoning for nerfing AR's was that they were used the most...yeah no shit, they're auto rifles of course they're being used the most. doesn't mean they're op.
-
Auto rifles should be buffed, but the others shouldn't. You don't even have to aim with fusion rifles. At least thorn and tlw require accuracy.
-
Honestly the thorn and last word need to be nerfed or balance out all primary weapons
-
BUFF EVERYTHING!
