Kaliks prime - House of Wolves Raid Boss?
My guess is that 'Kaliks Prime' is going to be the House of Wolves Raid boss.

I was thinking more of a the queen has us hunt kaliks and the. We realize she is using us for something more evil, at which time we jack her stuff up . Idk we'lil see. Arena leads me to believe the awoken will be an enemy at least for a period of time, only because it seems like it would be their arena they'd force us to compete in.

2 OdpowiedziNope the image for house of wolves has a giant captain like it did for Crota. The boss with be a captain like enemy, not a servitor.

2 OdpowiedziKaliks Prime could be a mid-boss in the next Raid, like the Templar or Ir Yût. The big Archon/Kell/whatever rank enemy that is shown on most promo materials for HoW would be the final boss of the Raid.

I keep changing my thoughts on what the raid for HoW well entail. My belief is that even though it's called "the arena" its not an actual romanesque style arena. Most likely it's a taken over prison of elders renamed "the arena " by its inhabitants (think arkham city I guess) with w/e the hell the queen had locked up in there along with the entire wolf house coming down on your ass hard as you try to liberate it. Servitors, kells, captains, primes, possibly other groups, even traitor awoken soldiers. To me il that's an obvious raid setup. Clear three sections of theprison with a boss at each or at least the last two beings the archon priest and kaliks for last.

5 OdpowiedziConsidering how fast & easy the professionals are taking down existing Raid Bosses, I would think that they would create multiple, simultaneous "Hard" targets: a great example of this would be the Black Garden with all statues active. I have a feeling that the next Raid Boss is going to make Rocket Launchers useless, to correct the "No Gjallarhorn, No Raid!" mentality...this way skill of the player becomes the key factor again, not the possession of a specific weapon. Time will tell. ;-)

Giant shank with two phases; first phase is a normal flying shank, second phase it lands and sprouts giant metal legs and stomps the piss out of everyone and starts spewing Servitors out of its rear end.

I totally agreed with you, a Servitor Prime is the strongest known being in the Fallen society, unless there's another type of Fallen creature and we can tell so far that the Kell of the Wolves will be the main enemy in the story, so I hope that Kaliks Prime is the main enemy in the raid

5 OdpowiedziIt's going to be Kaliks and a new Archon priest (we killed askor already) then the new Kell, whoever that is.

1 OdpowiedźThe big thing about this is that they have to keep it relatively down to earth. The vault was all time travel and crap and we literally died to go kill Crota. For this one, I'm having a hard time seeing how they can implement "puzzles" and crap without going all "space magic time travel this-person-died-to-create-this-magical-relic".
