18 OdpowiedziI'm a 32 but I always get the boot because I don't know how to use the sword properly (hunter here) and idk why everyone expects a hunter to always carry it. Most people thought hunters sucked, how ironic things have changed huh.

Your arrogance is pass the roof. A level doesn't make you a better player. I beaten crota multiples times on hard. First time only 32s doing it legit left side me a titan as a swordbearer. Now constantly middle glass strat we were able to pass it with 3 31s on the team. There's no danger for 31s in the middle glass. I would understand were you coming from if I did the left strat I would not accept a 31 at that point because there's danger around that area. At the end of the day it depends on what strat y'all doing and communication and experience of course. A 31 can be a better player over a 32. Less damage yes but if he knows what he's doing I rather take the 31 over the 32 that sucks ass. Don't define players by their level.

Our team ran three 31s through with three 32s. Keep the 31s on Boomer duty, and all will be well.

Im still going to play Hard Mode with my 31. Luckily for me the destiny community is a place of understanding and selflessness that is willing to help pull a 31 through, so I can reach the ultimate level of 32 like yourself. When I'm a 32 on Tuesday, I will be sure to pay it forward and help my fellow 31's. That payoff is better (just a little bit) than he shards or gear that I get. Warm and fuzzys in the inside.

All I can do is laugh at this post, you seriously can't roll with 31s on hard? I've done a few with at least 2. I think you need to step up your game if you think it's impossible without full group of 32s...

I think people should just stop saying they have experience if they don't, although that will never happen, I've run with plenty of 31s who can hold their own, and plenty of 32's that constantly cause wipes. Experience doesn't always make a difference, skill does though lol

As a 32 I have ran the raid with a full group of 31's before many times. It's an easy raid just need to sit on a window ledge and shoot rockets. Not difficult.

It's more likely a 32 will be better than a 31. Trust me, a bad 32 will be kicked from a party if it doesn't work. People usually run the raid for the loot, not for the great time it might be to play with them. This is usually done at every other single part of the game. Just not Crota on Hard. It's the most frustrating part of the game according to many. A lot of people just want to play with the best possible gear, even on their fireteam members. That's why people "require" you to have certain things. Because it eliminates the chance the player will be a lability. Who'd you rather have? Titan Defender level 32 Fang of Ir Yut, Black Hammer and Gjallarhorn Ruin Wings and a lot of heavy ammo synths Hunter Bladedancer Level 31 Another NITC, Broken Truth and Valedictorian all unmaxed weapons with random perks that aren't very impressive No synths Which one looks like a better player? Does it matter the hunter has leet skills? His subclass is worthless. He can't run the sword as a 31 effectively. He doesn't have great weapons. But yeah, you don't know which player is going to be better so who cares who you pick right? No. The 32 will likely be able to hold his own purely because of his weapons. You can tell him to use Ward Of Dawn at the start. He'll likely have 7 rockets when walking out the crystal room every single time. He might suck at sniping but will launch a Gjallarhorn right as the swordbearer spawns. He'll need 0 skill to down Crota. He won't die as quickly because he can use Ward Of Dawn almost anywhere on the field. I'm a bit sick of hearing this debate. I've ran it with a 31 before our clan leader on one of his alts. He uses Gjallarhorn and doesn't die. That's fine. It works. But if you're starting a group with random people, and you can easily find thousands of players that are level 32 and have Gjallarhorn, why wouldn't you? Why would you play with 31's and risk having to wipe all the time? It MIGHT go faster with the 31 than the 32, but those chances are a lot smaller. So people don't. If you're a 31, start your own group and look for people. You'll find them. There isn't any problem. Stop complaining that 32's want other 32's, though. It's much more likely that that will go smoother. Anecdotal evidence where it went super fast with 4 people on level 23 (yeah, I'm kidding...) because they were so amazingly good means nothing.

I completed HM Crota as a 31 with two other 31s. We beat Crota on 2 attempts. Hardly any deaths the entire raid. It's all skill. Level doesn't always matter.

In Crota HM you [i]need[/i] exactly one 32 to run the sword. Everyone else needs Ghorn, Hunger or Truth. In that order. Is it more difficult with 31s? Yes, but mostly only with the initial wave of adds. Aside from that you really only need to kill Swordbearer or ogres.

I watch people on twitch take 31's through hard raid all day every day. Step your game up maybe?

3 OdpowiedziWe did it last night with a 30 and two 31s. Ive done it before with a 29. Maybe you are just bad and using others as an excuse.

If u badly need 6 32's then your not very much skilled, I've had level 32 with the wrong armour and no way of regen health, whereas as the 31 had the helmet.

The only times I've beaten HM has been with at least two 31's so.......

As a 32 I have to say I've done plenty of hard raids and the only people causing problems are the over arrogant 32s that I played with whilst a 31 skill plays a big part when talking about stats in this game and the dynamics that come into play
