CE Hard Mode release time is ridiculous...
Like most of the people I know, I don't dedicate my life to Destiny. I have three 32s and over 800 hours in the game but despite all of that, I still go to school.
10 AM PST is not a good time. People are working or going to school. Before you say "stfu kid. go back to recess", I'm gonna say that I'm 17 almost 18 and on my last year of high school. And if you're a man living a decent life, you would be working as well during that time.
Edit: sorry, I forgot to add that the people I play with want me to be there to be one of the first fireteams to beat it
Also, I never said i cared about anyone else's time zones, just mine :))

I think it's pretty smart. I'm European so for me it drops on the evening and destinys biggest player base is in America (I assume) so it makes sense for them to try to decrease the strain on the servers when it drops by decreasing the number of American players at launch.

Well sadly the world does not revolve around you. You have the right to complain but you still look like an entitled player. I also want to compete for first group to finish but am working today. Life goes on...Have to realize not everything happens how you want it to happen. On the other hand, I do understand its a weird release time. Bungie would have a lot of people still on staff when it is released at that time. Maybe it is to help monitor and have a smoother transition of the update. When you stop thinking about yourself, you can see why things are the way they are...

Why does it matter what time it's released? Does it make it jealous? Are you gonna be sitting there mid morning infuriated bc you know some people are playing hard raid and you won't be able to for a few more hours??
