CE Hard Mode release time is ridiculous...
Like most of the people I know, I don't dedicate my life to Destiny. I have three 32s and over 800 hours in the game but despite all of that, I still go to school.
10 AM PST is not a good time. People are working or going to school. Before you say "stfu kid. go back to recess", I'm gonna say that I'm 17 almost 18 and on my last year of high school. And if you're a man living a decent life, you would be working as well during that time.
Edit: sorry, I forgot to add that the people I play with want me to be there to be one of the first fireteams to beat it
Also, I never said i cared about anyone else's time zones, just mine :))

I work nights and get out around 9 A.M. so I'm fine. P.s. It's 1 pm on the East Coast which makes it even better for me. And it doesn't matter what time they chose to launch it, because it was going to be inconvenient for one part of the world or another. Skip class or take a day off if you really care that much.

I don't think you can say you haven't dedicated your life to it, if you have played exactly 800 hours that is 33 days and 8 hours of playing time... 33 days! Since September you have spent a little over a MONTH on this game... Edit: While reading through the comments I got to thinking, imagine that those 800 hours were put towards a job, let's say you had a job making $8 an hour to make the math easier, you could have made $6,400 before taxes, that's enough to buy a nice used vehicle. Or if you have a nice car/truck already you could add upgrades to it (i.e. Lift kit and tires, light bars etc.)

Bungie not gonna give the first team anything anyway. It'll just be a shader or an emblem. It won't be an exclusive weapon or anything like that for they want gameplay to be balanced and such an act would be a contradiction.
