So Bungie, about that vault space..
I now have all the Iron Banner weapons.. Really wanted them all and now I have them. The problem is my vault and character are totally full of legendary and exotic weapons. I'm going to start another character just to hold weapons. I just don't understand how a game that is all about getting all the gear can hold us back and make collecting so difficult. Please Bungie fix this now, not in 6 months.
We gotta keep hammering this until they fix it. It should be the #1 priority for the development team.

Just imagine playing Gran Tourismo or Forza and getting a really sweet car, upgrading it, racing it etc etc. Then you move on to another race and wham!, you get the car you've been wanting. You go to put the car in your garage and it says: "Sorry, garage full. 10 garage spaces used. Delete a car if you would like to keep this new car in your garage".
If that ever happened in Forza or Gran Tourismo people would freak out and with good reason.
I see absolutely no difference in this situation. Just the way I see it..

9 OdpowiedziWe should definitely prioritize this over saaaay, the net code for crucible, or having basic game functions like custom games, or say things that would greatly improve play quality like a strike vote system or any other of the numerous useful things. Instead, no, lets all vote for vault space to store a bunch of guns we aren't using, plus then the servers get to hold even MORE information and there can be even more persistent lag in both pvp and pve!!! Hurray priorities!!!!

3 OdpowiedziAbsolutely agree! It should be no more difficult than it was for them to add bounty slots, which has probably been the most warmly received update to the game since launch. Since launch, they have added: Vanguard Commendations Crucible Commendations (not sure if the factions have their own unique commendations) Exotic Shards Radiant Shards Radient Energies ...and if you had a few telemetries saved up, transferring inventory between characters was tedious prior to these additions. Fewer weapon slots in the Vault than what a guardian can carry was a design flaw to begin with. Then you look at the ten available spaces per character for Ghost skins, and it becomes apparent that not a whole lot of thought was put into this aspect of the game.

Some vault space on the ship would be nice, depending on the ship the vault space could vary in size. My vault is filled with exotics, which leaves storing weapons in my characters, so swapping weapons around is a pain. I'd even be happy with the ability to increase vault size with glimmer or some type of material.

For the house of solves they're fixing it. There's either going to be separate vendors that hold things for you or each of the vault computers is going to hold a different type of item. If you go on planetdestiny.com, they check what files are downloaded in the updates. And there's 3 files that are listed as vendor objects for storing different kinds of items.
