I was on Blind Watch, night fell. The other team had been hammering us the entire match, and we were backed far behind Alpha. Our team was fleeing the onslaught of Fusion and Pulse Rifles, we dodge, ducked, and dipped in and out of cover, hoping for an opportunity to strike back. It never came, and we were forced back behind the doors of a long abandoned room. We were running low on ammo. Nobody's Supers were charged. They took both Heavy Ammo boxes, and we're hitting the walls, dust falling from the cracks in the frail ceiling, every bone-shattering rumble threatening the security of what was left of our team. I was a Hunter being hunted. Our Titans were exhausted, the Warlocks frantically attempting to radio for reinforcements. I caught myself considering surrender, when words echoing with the Traveler's Light ringed through our ears. [b]Git gud, scrubs.[/b] Lights in the room flashed on, the siege stopped, and there he was. SmoggyPluto. The Gjallarhorn is said to have been forged from the armor of Guardians who fell at Twilight Gap. [i]His armor was forged from Gjallarhorns.[/i] I saw in him the determination to save us. He was a Paladin in a wasteland, a Gunslinger in a desert. He was a hero. He stepped outside, light shining on his Gjallarhorns. A Titan sprang out, glowing with the Aura, charging straight at Smoggy. [i]Smoggy ripped the Titan's leg off, mid Shoulder Charge.[/i] The rest of the team was frozen in their tracks. Smoggy took one look at them, raised his arms... [i]He had wrist mounted Gjallarhorns. He had Gjallarhands.[/i] In one fell swoop, Smoggy's missiles massacred the opposition whom could only stand in awe. Their bodies exploded in a rain of orbs, each fortelling the prophecies of prosperity soon to come by Smoggy's hands. We waited in the safety of the room, our breathes held in anticipation; surely the next attack would come harder than the first. When would they respawn? [i]None of the other team ever did. [/i] Smoggy had taken their Ghosts, dismantled them light by little light, and reformed them into Gjallarhorns. [b]Git gud, scrubs.[/b] With a single flourish of his Gjallarhand, he tossed us our Gjallarhorns, knowing we would use them for justice. He would have rode off into the sunrise, but he shot that, too.

It was a stormy day in may, i was playing the level 35 prison of elders and we were fighting Skolas, this was our last attempt... We had exhausted all our heavy ammo synthesis in the previous rounds and and were making one last daring attempt. We had Skolas down to 50% health when i heard a loud thunder strike outside. "NO!" i screamed but it was too late the red and grey bar had appeared at the bottom of my screen. "Attempting to reconnect." It read. [b]"Get gud scrub"[/b] It thundered all around me, outside and inside the game. Lighting flashed all around my house blinding me, when i regained my vision this is what i saw: "SmoggyPluto has joined your fireteam." I frantically checked my screen and sure enough he was there in our fireteam, 4 in our fireteam... He spawned in with a monstrous roar that turned to a low chuckle... [b]"not today."[/b] he said. He ran to my unmoving gl itching form; my teammates screaming overwhelmed with adds. He spawned a bubble that gave us both weapons and blessing of light. I was astounded but knew that i would not last long enough... I was going to disconnect... When suddenly SmoggyPluto reached through my screen and grabbed the disconnect bar... I couldn't believe what was happening. He grabbed the bar as if it was a stick, pulled it off my screen and loaded it into his Gjallarhorn, He then jumped into the sky, a quartic jump, 5 JUMPS, he got so high he absorbed the sun and then in one swoop shot the disconnect bar into Skolas tearing him apart into nothing. The wolfpack rounds then proceed to swarm and destroy the mines we were supposed to [i]dismantle[/i] He stayed with us all the way to the treasure room but did not speak. Finally he urinated on the large chest and turned to us and said [b]"become legend gaurdian."[/b] [i]SmoggyPluto has left your fireteam[/i]. speechless me and my fireteam all opened the pee-stained chest... We all received 3 Gjallarhorns... One void, one arc, and one solar, all already fully maxed [i]all hail SmoggyPluto[/i]

At first I Was blind, but now I see, at first just an AmbitiousMule was I Then is my moment of need, drenched in blood, the stench of either caking the air, i clutched my steaming Bad JuJu thousands of fallen ravers lay in ruin around me, but this round I would not win, for i faced Randal scolds, the once fabled glitch had seeped it's way into the prison of elders and there he stood, 100X the hit points of the 35 boss, all my weapons had disintegrated from use, we battle on a plane of decapitated fallen, I stopped counting how many adds has spawned once we no longer had ground to tread on, only fallen corpses stacked high, my fireteam booted, me unable to leave the prison, was it the 9?? The architects? Perhaps this was all a hallucination brought on by using Bad JuJu in conjunction with vex armour, I hear skolas in the distance, I've bought myself breathing space as he searches for me, I look at my gauntlets which have now burnt to the wrist from enough nova bombs to restart a dying sun, and just as all hope was lost and I looked to the sky for mercy SmoggyPluto has joined your fire team There he/she was, dawning obsidian mind, crest of alpha lupi, ruin wings and peregrine grieves, descending from out the sky in an almighty fist of havoc, but this fist of havoc was void, behind Pluto were the wings of a sunsinger and the ground seemed to shake in anticipation of plutos landing, I swear I saw the sound barrier break as Pluto smashed skolas in the face with so much force, the sea of lifeless fallen exploded out the arena and dust was left in his wake, As the dust settled a shadowy figure, illuminated intermittently by bolts of arc light walked over to me, cold as ice I hear the voice speak, "heard you needed a hand, sorry if that was a bit much, wouldn't take your kill tho" smoggy generated an orb of light and threw it to me, absorbing it imbued me with a buff called smoggy weather, my abilities dealt all damage types and had significant cool down reduction, I looked at my JuJu and it was labeled scout rifle, it had the impact to match that too Skolas began to stand with a sharp intake of either and a cloud of purple fumes filled the air, half his face disintegrated, the other half, angry, I jumped over smoggy and sent of a nova bomb with both hands to my surprise three bolts shot out of my hands, in a prefect blast one central and two bribing it at immense velocity, each separate damage types, they careered through the air, rending and distorting space time in their wake before boring most of skolas's top half clean off and destroying a section of arena behind him, The either in the air thinned, variks came back on the comma and spoke "strange, very strange guardian, we thought we had lost you to the dark corners, it appears guardians do make their own fate after all" I look at Pluto and im met with a laugh, "Your not from here are you" I ask "Not quite. All won't be answered, that's that nature" as Pluto said this the stranger materialised beside us "Guardian, if you with you can spread the word to others, there's more out there than even the awoken know" I ask if there's any way I can repay them, almost instantaneously in my mind I hear both their voices speak to me telepathically "in name and action, join the legion of the large trans Neptunian object and be free from the false god RNGesus" We all nodded to each other and the pair left, turning to axiom as they walked I skipped the treasure chest that day Now I stand illuminated Many things lie beyond the Kuiper belt guardians And that's how I got my GT

It was another day in the cosmodrome. My fireteam and I, bored out of our minds, were playing a game of poker. [i]Le[/i], (as I call him) was killing us. I had lost almost all of my strange coins, and [i]Goalie[/i] was so mad, his knife lit the table on fire. We ran out of the smoke-filled room, leaving our helmets and weapons in there. [i]First Mistake.[/i] The fallen jumped us. We didn't know how many there were. There were just… a lot. I awoke a few hours later, in a laser protected cell. My team has informed me of what had happened. [i]Goalie[/i] was bashing the wall, his shoulder bleeding. I checked my bond. The colour indicated it was night. Damn. The new archon of the house of devils stood at the cell door. He made a few hisses and clicks, then reached for his scorch cannon. It was over. Then I head a buzz. The buzz had no location. I was just… [i]there[/i]. It then turned into a hum. Then a rumble. Then… [i]he[/i] arrived. SmoggyPluto has crashed through the wall of the cell and punched through the laser grid. He slammed his Gjallerhorn-plated fist into the archon, smashing every bone in his body. He reached for the scorch cannon, instantly turning it into a Gjallerhorn. He cleared the room in an instant, his armour gleaming with the light of a sun. He looked back at us, and said: [i]Run.[/i] At that moment, the wall opposite to us exploded. An armada of Devil-Walkers were there. He pulled out and [i][b]Dual Wielded[/b][/i] Gjallerhorns. We ran. Behind us, we heard the distant roar of the Wolfpack rounds. At the corner of my screen, it read: [i]SmoggyPluto has Ascended.[/i] I looked in disbelief. I couldn't imagine it. What did that mean? Suddenly, everything went white. The entire building was levelled. I looked up, and saw him floating there. He looked at us, grunted, and said: [i]Good luck on your travels.[/i] At that instant, we all got our items back. He disappeared in a flash of golden light. In his wake, he left 3 Gjallerhorns. Each with a message: [i]Good luck.[/i] And I never saw him again. [spoiler]Not sure if good or garbage[/spoiler]

Smoggy, the true legend. In the next week I am deleting one of my Titans and creating a Hunter in honour of the great Smoggy ... to follow in his footsteps. He has shown us that even the least of us can be rewarded and become legend, through words, actions and RNG. Hail the hero of our time.
