There are so many better examples out there, and no weapon in destiny is do or die, neither is xur, so your argument is invalid. In all seriousness tho, you do realize there have been cases of cancer going away without any medical treatment whatsoever. It's rare, but it does happen.

As well, any Christian mother would have brought there son to the doctor and then still prayed. The fact your saying believers of God are stupid and wouldn't take there son who has cancer to the doctor is ludicrous. God works through people we believe.

The first mother isnt an idiot, just not smart enough to realize when her son is getting worse and worse. prayer doesnt work.
