Xür selling Ice Breaker is ridiculous
Ice Breaker is in my opinion the best sniper in the game, it's not a gun some Christmas noob should be able to just buy two weeks after they got they got the game, I grinded my ass off week after week doing nightfalls and raids trying to get it, luckily I did, so I don't think it's fair for someone to just be able to buy it, they should have to do the grind just like everyone else, Xür should only sell the not as perfect exotics, the ones that are good, but not the best, Xür could pop into the tower two weeks in a row and sell Ice Breaker and Suros, than what would this game come too, prolly many many many people dropping off the game due to the fact that even if you put in the work to get something you still have the same amount of chance to get the gun as someone who joins last second. Fix your loot system Bungie, Fix Xür, let him still sell exotics, but only the not end game ones like truth or Red Death and such.
Some of us actually work for our exotics and like to be able to show them off, they should be exclusive, they're exotics for a reason.
Anyway, Thanks for not much Bungie, and if you do this Xür Bullshit again, than say a final goodbye to me and destiny.

I've been playing sense release, done both raids made lvl 31 never had a good weapon drop but I did do weekly and nightfall and saved strange coins. Explain to me how I didn't earn it? So you killed a lvl 25 mob got lucky. Good for you, you also earned it I don't see the issue

Fallacy... RNG does not reward effort. Ppl should be happy Xur sells useful exotics as it makes randos more likely to contribute and strikes/playlists go faster. This allows you to make better use of time.

I never got IB in a drop. I've done countless weekly strikes on hard with all 3 of my characters as well to get strange coin. So when xur was selling it this weekend I jumped at the opportunity to get it. So you got in a drop I got it from xur and you're more deserving of it? I grind just like you and the rest of the Destiny community. Btw Christmas noobs probably had to do a few weekly strikes as well to get some coin. Not like they started out with 13 strange coin. The loot in this game is random. Destiny is trying to make it fair for everyone. If anything it will improve raid teams so Christmas noobs acually have a gun that does some damage. Quit your whining and if your going to leave because xur sells the best exotics , then leave. I'm pretty sure Bungie won't miss you..... not everyone is able to get the best guns in the game because of the randomness of the loot system even if they've done countless nightfalls, weekly strikes, and raids . Xur is good.

I for one don't have time to find people and by the time I get to play which is late at night friends are either not on or busy sleeping. For casuals, getting a strange coin from grinding is just as much work as anything else. Just a different avenue.

6 OdpowiedziWell you see Bungie is trying to make the game fair for everyone. Some people can't play the game everyday and don't have the time to grind for these weapons. This is the reason that bungie put xur in the game. Some people don't even have the time to get strange coins. In my opinion I would worry about the Ice Breaker being out gunned by the Black Hammer.

Xur selling it is a good thing. I bought it the first time he sold it not knowing how good it was. Now my entire raid team has one and it makes us stronger/versatile as a whole. Stop being selfish.

I couldn't care less if an "xmas noob" buys the gun. In fact, congratulations to them and to all who bought the gun. I bought it too! Does that make me less of a player? If they were able to grind this much since they got the game, and earn the strange coins, then they deserve it as much as anyone. Good for you! I know I'm happy. I was disappointed I missed out the first time. Rngesus blessed me the the thunderlord, universal remote and hard light. Either than that, I "earned" every exotic weapon xur had to offer. Missing the Red Death though. It's just a game people!!! Grind it out and have fun! Regards, A happy IB owner

Guns shoot bullets not pats on the back. I just don't get this need to have a gun to make you feel special. Btw didn't everyone have IB already? Sure felt like it in all my raids.

1 OdpowiedźI got icebreaker in the first Crota chest the week after the release of the DLC and then again in the chest following the Templar in the VoG. No grind required therefore I support Xur selling exotics to people who get stiffed by RNGesus
