Name one Exotic that dropped that you didn't deserve!
Back in October, there was a Nightfall at The Summoning Pits with Arc Burn. I know this as I struggled to get past the witches at the door and eventually gave up. Later that day, I got Plan C from a Strike and thought I'd give the Nightfall one more attempt with it.
I took to the forums, looking for a fireteam. A guy added me who just so happened to be hiding (on his own) at the final encounter with Phogoth, so he obviously went solo and the final encounter was too much for him. He was hiding under a cliff overlooking the drop where the Tombships spawn. I joined as did someone else. Anytime we died we rejoined, as the cheese spot was not universally known back then (the shrieker room)
We killed Phogoth, I got Hawkmoon, the rest got Legendaries.
My bad! haha

My very first nightfall I got a suros and I was severely underleveled for it haha

The crux i wiped because i heard someone scream it turns out the two that died was warlocks so they self revived and finished the raid i was pissed but i got a five item drop. The crux, the fang ,grave robber shards and energies

My first match in the last iron banner, as I flew into the atmosphere I hear the "hooter" that indicates the enemy controls all 3 zones. And "FIGHT BACK, CONTROL THE ZONES" I thought, 'this is gonna be fun' so I drop in and the score is 18,500 to 8,000 or pretty close. I get killed and take the other guy with me, I respawn and run off to find someone to kill. The game ends..... At the reward screen I got Thunderlord. To top it off I'm pretty sure I saw someone complain about me on the forums. I felt guilty, but ya know, it's not my fault is it.

Got invited to a nightfall. Joined as the boss died. Got a suros. Shards and coins for the others. Felt like a douche lol

Gjallarhorn this last nightfall. My friend did a lot better than I. All he got was truth and I got my 3rd gjallarhorn when he has played since day 1 and still hasn't gotten it yet

2 manned phogoth about a month ago, it must have been my worst performance in a nightfall ever. Anyway, my mate gets 9 ascendant energy and I get a ghorn

Patience and Time Joined a match literately right as it ended. I got no kills or any points at all and wound up on the losing team. The person at the top had 25 kills and 3 deaths. I got a lot of hate mail over that.

Mine happened a long while back, forget the Nightfall we did, but it was rather hellish at the time, and I was having very uncooperative internet issues. So I told my crew at the time to press on as best they could, and I'd do my best whenever I got the chance. Between the random disconnects and atrocious lag, I barely did anything. Suffice it to say we killed the boss, finished the nightfall, I came out with around 2 kills by the end (the counter resets every time the strike is left) with maybe 30-ish total, and I got a Hawkmoon. One of my crew got coins, and the other got a Legendary that turned into a weapon he already had. I still feel bad.

Suros Regime. Bounty farming on "The Dark Beyond" (who doesn't right?) when a Legendary Engram dropped. The Cryptarch came up good for a change!

Same night. Buddy of mine killed crota on hard for me. I got my 4th ghorn. He mad, he still doesnt have it. If we had trading, i would give it to him! Next we did atheon hard. I still need the vex. Saw a exotic drop on my screen on the end.. yes!!!! I got the vex... so i thought.. nope it was my 5th ghorn.. Sorry... dont know what to do with them !

One of our clan members jumped in the boss battle in this week's nightfall just to help us kill the Nexus. He got zero kills and had three assists. He got Suros Regime...his THIRD! The rest of us got legendarys.
