Changing Title... Do you feel game will be unbalanced if Xur sells Icebreaker or G'horn?
Word on the street is that Xur will be selling Icebreaker and/or G'horn. Hear me out. The icebreaker and G'horn are the only exotics in my mind that truly "feel" like and exotic. The mythoclast used to, people bitched, got nerfed, now it sucks. I feel this is the same road that the Icebreaker and G'horn are going down. If Xur sells these guns AGAIN, minded everyone had their chance before, then this will severely jeopardize the games balance b/c, without a doubt, 100% of the players who do not have these weapons, will buy them. Mark my words. If this is the case, then Bungie is telling me on thing for sure, that these weapons will be getting a nerf b/c if everyone in the game has them, the games balance will be gone. I do have the icebreaker and I love it, but do not have the g'horn. So I am not one of these gamers who is bitching, or moaning, or complaining about a weapon being to strong, just stating facts. I would love the G'horn, but I want it the real way, grinding, putting in my hours, etc rather than just buying it. What the point of playing anymore when two of the games best weapons will be sold and 100% of Destiny players WILL have them now? There is no point! I would love feedback, positive or negative.

Simple answer is no. If people and bungie are worried about the crucible effect, they should add PvP stats for weapons. Then more balance could be done without hurting PVE.

Dude get it through your head that you don't earn shit in this game. You can actually make an argument that waiting coins on somethimg is earning it because you need to complete the heroics in order to get them. Not just getting lucky and a -blam!-ing noob going 1-25 getting the ghorn. True story this happened today I went 25 and 3 and this idiot gets the ghorn with only one kill

2 OdpowiedziEven if sold, they won't be nerfed. The reason the Vex got nerfed was Crucible. "Balancing" is done to make different builds viable in PvP, not to make sure that 3 man fireteams are an even match for some level 5 dregs. From my understanding, Icebreaker and G'Horn are not "go to" weapons in crucible. Truth is the go to launcher, and any other sniper rifle with decent impact and ROF/stability would trump Icebreaker. I have rare sniper rifles I would use before Icebreaker if I was hitting up PvP.

I have both, so it doesn't matter to me if he sells them. The game will not TILT if every player owns either or both. But Xur, bring your engrams this time. The number of motes of light I have saved up is causing an imbalance to my vault space.

6 OdpowiedziGjallarhorn is only benificial in PvE, meaning, why are you complaining if everybody has it? That just means you'll get through the strike a lot quicker, benefiting you and your team.

The problem with the Mythoclast was in PvP, and I can't see Ice Breaker or Gjallarhorn being much of an issue with PvP. The biggest problem if Xur sells either will be the entitled little a-holes who think that just because they already got one from a drop that no one else should have one because it makes them feel special.

You have so much time within a week to earn the different currencies needed to purchase weapons and armor whether it's motes of light, vanguard/crucible points, or strange coins. When you've collected enough you can purchase whatever your heart desires because you worked to collect the currency to do so. It's a sure fire way of insuring you get what you want rather then waiting, hoping, or wishing that you randomly get what you want via the RNG reward system. Besides Xur is just as random as the nightfall or raid as he's proven time and time again. So do us all a favor and get over yourselves. Purchased rewards are no less earned than RNG rewards. If anything they require more of a grind and patience to keep at it and to save when what you want isn't available.

You killed 1 person and died 18 times, your team lost as a result? Here, have Hawkmoon. Hey just afked a strike? Would you like Truth? Opened a chest at the start of the raid on your own? Cool, here's your Suros Regime. Meanwhile those who are dedicated and skilled (and I am not either btw) are not guaranteed to get anything. It is a truly pathetic system, predicated upon the game lacking content and so a requirement to run the same content over and over had to be established. So, that being said, let Xur sell IB and G'horn. There is no reason why everyone shouldn't have them, not just lucky scrubs. Exotics via Xur are the only ones in the game that require some form of achievement. Let Xur sell everything. There is no rarity in this game, only pure blind luck.

1 OdpowiedźNot everyone had the chance; not everyone was playing when they were sold first. Not everyone will buy; some don't want them or don't have the coins. Not everyone will have it. Someone will just start playing tomorrow (not a fact, just reasonable assumption). If it bothers you that much, feel free to do whatever you feel is necessary, but don't make over broad statements that cannot be supported.

Speak for your damn self. Icebreaker can be sold since black hammer is its equal if not better in most situations. Giggityhorn meh I'd rather he didn't even tho I don't have it. I like the rarity of this gun and would be cool to have an actual rare exotic

Unbalanced how, PvE? Because neither of those particularly dominates in PvP.
