Changing Title... Do you feel game will be unbalanced if Xur sells Icebreaker or G'horn?
Word on the street is that Xur will be selling Icebreaker and/or G'horn. Hear me out. The icebreaker and G'horn are the only exotics in my mind that truly "feel" like and exotic. The mythoclast used to, people bitched, got nerfed, now it sucks. I feel this is the same road that the Icebreaker and G'horn are going down. If Xur sells these guns AGAIN, minded everyone had their chance before, then this will severely jeopardize the games balance b/c, without a doubt, 100% of the players who do not have these weapons, will buy them. Mark my words. If this is the case, then Bungie is telling me on thing for sure, that these weapons will be getting a nerf b/c if everyone in the game has them, the games balance will be gone. I do have the icebreaker and I love it, but do not have the g'horn. So I am not one of these gamers who is bitching, or moaning, or complaining about a weapon being to strong, just stating facts. I would love the G'horn, but I want it the real way, grinding, putting in my hours, etc rather than just buying it. What the point of playing anymore when two of the games best weapons will be sold and 100% of Destiny players WILL have them now? There is no point! I would love feedback, positive or negative.

I've downed atheon plenty of times on the first run through times vengeance with only 2 ghorns and No icebreakers.. it's not the weapons that make a team/player great, it's communication and skill. Edit: it wasn't all Bc of the ghorns, I'm just saying, other weapons do plenty of damage as well.. Blackhammer out crits icebreaker and is basically an endless mag if you don't mess up.

I would be happy as hell, my whole fireteam can rock gally. Currently im the only one that has it. I couldnt care less about if everyone else has it, that doesnt effect me at all. I just wish more people on my raid team did

As long as bungie doesn't need them once a majority of players have them, no. It'll be more balanced cause there's people that can't get into raid groups simply for not having one of these weapons. It's ridiculous and would give those players an easier time finding people to play with.

You know if xur does sell the breaker today. Give it till next Friday and you'll hardly see it in anyone's hands

I don't understand why this conversation has been raging lately. Xur already sold both of these weapons. Only casuals and Christmas noobs don't have them. Their ubiquity didn't unbalance the game before, so why would it do so now? They're not even particularly good in Crucible. Truth outshines Ghorn there, and there are many legendary snipers that overshadow Icebreaker.

I just want the icebreaker upgrade, we've seen the G'horn upgrade like 3 times already - pretty sure everyone who already had it upgraded it by now...

Now let's level the playing field and replace the swords with AR15's...who wins? That's balance. People who have these weapons and don't want them sold again are those who don't want their crutch kicked out from them.

No it won't unbalance the game. There's still other Heavy and Special that can perform up to par with them in the right hands. I'm pretty sure exotic pistols are still all the rage so that's an exotic slot already taken up.

3 OdpowiedziThe game will be too easy if everyone buys either of these guns. 4 players had ghorn at its old max of 300 and killed atheon in 17 seconds. And ib never needs ammo so cheesing becomes much easier.

4 OdpowiedziI don't have either weapon, and I will not buy either one if Xur sells them. If, for no other reason than to prove you wrong. And what street is there that talks about Xur? Do you go out to the store and overhear some people talking in whispers about what Xur is selling? Or do you go buy some pot and your dealer is all like "Yo, bitch, I heard Xur is gonna sell Icebreaker or the mothafukin Baller Horn, son!"

They didnt realize how strong they actually made that thing, BUT that does NOT mean if and when Xur sells it-it will then recieve a nerf. Also if they ever did end up nerfing Jellyhorn the only thing that would change is how much damage each Wolfpack Round does.

2 OdpowiedziI'd rather the Vanguard ROC playlist consist of strikes that take 9-12 minutes because of more Icebreaker/Gjallarhorns in the world than the current status quo, to say nothing of the bullet sponges in both of the raids (Templar/Atheon/Deathsinger, etc)
