Issues with RAID LOOT
Hello All,
First, I generalized "raid" because the issue/question has to do with both raids currently in the game.
According to bungie there are several places on the raids that have a chance to drop exotics... but as Bungie describes them, there's a chance for "exotic weapons AND armor."
Now, I am approaching 140 raids completed and I have never EVER seen a piece of exotic armor drop from a raid.
Has ANYONE ever seen or had exotic armor drop from a raid? (chest or boss drop)
If yes, a screenshot would be nice!
Edit 1: Some posters are asking where did Bungie say there would be Exotic Armor drops. This is an exact copy/paste from Bungie's latest patch notes:

Edit 2: Wow, do people even read these days? Everyone is saying that they get exotic weapons...
The issue I'm bringing up is not with exotic weapons, it's exotic ARMOR. According to Bungie (read edit 1 above) we're supposed to be getting exotic armor as well.

1 Odpowiedźi have never seen armor drop, but my buddy claims to have gotten glass house from the crota chest you get right b4 deathsinger. hes not usually a liar ether. But, i have done the raids many many times, and never seen anything but weapons drop.

VoG hard is how i got my gauntlets for my hunter, my friend has gotten glasshouse, and another the warlock chest all in vog

I think it's separated like Exotic weapons and armor, meaning the raid armor and not Exotic armor. That would be my guess seeing as how I've never seen Exotic armor drop in either raid.

Pretty sure it's saying Exotic weapons and armor as in raid armor.

I'm freaking tired of hearing every other player giddy with excitement getting a full raid set. After seven runs I have 2 pieces of raid gear. They screwed me over with VOG taking 14 runs to get my third raid piece, only after dlc dropped and I could hit 31 with vendor gear. So once again I'm getting screwed by drops and after seven runs only 2 pieces of raid gear? Wtf bungie fix your reward algorithms to stop preventing top kill leaders from getting raid drops. I'm freaking raging tonight eff you bungie I put up with this crap with VOG hard level 30 only lfg groups. Now I'll get excluded for a proper reason when I'm not 32 for crota hard raids? Why because I perform well and destroy every raid?

1 OdpowiedźI've gotten Monte Carlo from atheon Yesterday I got the vex an hard light from atheon Yesterday got patience and time from death singer and today got the last word from death singer I think after the update to make VOG exotics drop at the new lvl cap they might of increased the drop rate cuz they seriously have been dropping non stop!

5 OdpowiedziI've done raids on all characters ever since they were available on every reset. I have never once seen an armor drop in any of the runs I've done, and that's including all the people I've helped where I didn't get rewards. Somewhere over 200 completions, and not a single person in any of those got armor. Pretty sure they can't drop.

If you wait approximately 5 minutes after completing the raid, you are forced to a raid summary screen, which, when it comes up, has a chance of dropping an exotic. My team actually did that this past Tuesday on the CE Raid, and one of my mates got [b][i]Plan C v2.0[/i][/b]. Note 1: If you leave before the screen shows, you won't get the chance roll. Note 2: Ants007 has stated his team still got the exotic drop when they QTOd before the summary screen, so my experience in Note 1 May be just a coincidence. Note 3: main point of this post is raid Completion has a chance to drop Exotics. I have not received or seen someone receive armor from it yet.

3 OdpowiedziI played this game since midnight release and never ever had Titan or Hunter vault of glass chest piece drop for me, i done vault so many times is not even funny. I had to rely on exotic chest for level 30. Still today im 32 my characters and i still play vault of Glass and chest pieces will never drop for me...

The amount of people not even reading is hilarious. As far as I'm aware, though, only weapons can drop. Ir Yut MIGHT drop armor, based on the database, but I can't confirm that.

3 OdpowiedziI have seen HEAPS where do I start? I have got Gjallarhorn twice Thunderlord and Dragons breath. Seen the following drop Icebreaker, Suros Regime, No land beyond, Hard light, The last word, Red Death and Patience and time.

I'm with you I have been wondering the same. I have seen a ton of exotic guns but no armor drop

So most everyone is glossing over your real question and saying that exotic weapons drop... I think what they mean by armor is raid gear, not exotic armor.
