There's apparently a 6 month gap between The House of Wolves and "Comet", so how are Bungie going to keep the numbers which are already dwindling a month into the latest expansion with 2 months remaining as people are 1) Already Level 32 on a least one character, mainly their primary characters. So people will probably reach the next level cap within a month of the House of Wolves meaning there is a a 5 month baron run. 2) Have all Raid weapons so far. People are probably in the Hard Raid for 3 weapons. The Handcannon, Scout Rifle and maybe the Auto Rifle, and if the Eidolon Ally is anything to go by, the Necrochasm will be crap and will be a trophy. These three weapons will be obtained by some during the first week of the Hard Raid between 3 characters or the hardcorers who delete, raid, delete, raid. What will they do for the next two months?? Go on a hiatus? Will this have bigger implications if the gap is bigger if the same is to occur with House of Wolves having all gear within a month and a half with another 5 to go? 3) Given up on Gjallarhorn 4) Given up on Xur 5) The thoughts of gear being rendered obsolete come March 6) 80% of the Exotics of been sold, there is not as much as a demand for Xur compared to Sept-November, this means we are in a position where alot dont have to worry about running the Weekly 3 times a week incase he sells anything good. We all want Gjallarhorn, guess what, it'll never be sold again unless its 200 Strange Coins. 7) Have their best Exotics worth upgrading again already upgraded within a month, which will probably be the same outcome when the HoW hits in which they will have all their weapons reupgraded in which they will face a 5 month baron run. EDIT: I made a few corrections to this as I missed out on info to make the point more understanding. As for numbers dwindling, I do not mean that as Destiny on a whole. What I mean is that people have cheesed the hell out of the Raid and have probably gotten everything and the Hard Raid will offer a Pulse Rifle, Hand Cannon, Auto and Scout and Crux, the reasons to play the Hard Raid. With this in mind, people could easily get the majority of weapons within 2 weekly resets leaving them with nothing to do until the next expansion and go on a hiatus until March, hence dwindling. What will it be like if the gap is bigger?
