Titan opinions on Insurmountable Skullfort
Xur is selling this weekend. I have Glass House but don't really use it much. Would really like Saint-14 but until I can obtain that one I was thinking of picking this one up. Looks beastly for Striker class and PvP. What are your thoughts?
Edit: Lots of good input. Thanks. Also, just an fyi since I see a lot of other suggestions, I already have Amamentarium, Glass House, Ruin Wings, and MK 44's. Was considering Skullfort for Striker and disco dancing but decided to pass on it for now. Really would like Saint 14 for defender use. Let's see if RNGesus or Xur will be kinder to me. Thanks everyone for all the info.

Its alright in pvp because you always spawn with your melee. Other than that, helm of in most light is better

Helpful in crota fight. Plus it looks better that what i have I will replace it with.... Glasshouse, or Raid helm + wings, or armamentarium. Certainly not the best, but the best of my options right now.

I like the look of it. Pretty unique as far as that goes. Perks aren't great.

Its the only helm that I literally never use. To me, the Saint 114 is far more useable in specific sitiuations (ex, CC) and the glass house is a great general helm (ugly tho).

As a Striker you have so many better choices like Ruin Wings (in pve), Armentarium (duel grenades), the MK-44 boots (if you love shoulder charging), Helm of Inmost, though I think it is also bleh. In PvE the Defender shines above all and let me tell ya...Glasshouse is beautiful in teamplay! Edit: I saw you already want Saint-14 and there's no need to recommend what is the absolute BEST Titan exotic in the game.

I got it from a helmet engram a week or two ago and really like it. Not my favorite piece of exotic armor (Ruin wings; duh), but it's decent.

Until I can get a Saint-14 I figure I'll pick this up and play around with it as Striker in PvP, but it's nothing to write home about.

Skullfort looks the best in my opinion, but it's Helm Of Inmost Light I use, for the Recklessness Perk :D

3 OdpowiedziIMO the breakdown for titan is this. Ruin Wings (if you have the Ballerhorn) for PVE or The Armamentarium for PVP. Saint-14 is a close second for PVP or strikes (did someone say Omnigul?) but those two stand on top. With that said I like the Skullfort, it looks really cool, but I can't justify what it gives vs. what I'd lose.

18 OdpowiedziThe Armamentarium or get out. There's no problem in the world that an extra grenade can't solve, from world hunger to your new pet having an accident on the carpet. When faced with a problem a true titan will either punch a solution into it, or blow it up.

I bought the helmet and it is not so great it just looks cool but until now I need it to become level 32 I've had no luck at getting the raid helmet.

4 OdpowiedziRuin Wings when they work are better than any other titan gear imo. After that is saint-14, armamentarium, mk 44 stand asides.

I got it as a drop from nightfall. It's pretty much my easiest path to 32. It has saved me from some pinches if I'm willing to go off and thunderfist some mob during a fight, but I don't normally spec with transfusion either way. I love armamentarium as a striker titan. Them grenades tho. And even in pvp the double blind grenade is a life saver

If the "enhanced transfusion" perk was replaced by "enhanced amplify", I would find this helmet very useful. For those that don't know, amplify is the perk that recharges a portion of your super when you get a kill with storm fist. Imagine completing the "kill 3 enemies with a super" bounty on the dark beyond mission whilst using bad juju and an enhanced amplify perk.

Great for PvP with the Transfusion perk. Can get you out of a sticky situation when facing a few opponents in succession and you manage a melee kill or SC. Also good in PvE on missions against Hive or low level opponents that fall to SC when it gets hairy. Looks good in the face but makes your head look like a pea.
