who's thankful for their gift?
Since this morning when I have been on the forums, all I have heard is complaining about the gift. Bungie can't satisfy you people. I haven't even arrived hole yet and I am already thankful for the gift no matter what It will be. How about you stop complaining about every little thing and be thankful for something for a change?

Not me, got a duplicate. I don't need 2 MG18As. Not crazy salty about it, but yea, the gift was trash for me. Grats to those who got something they wanted :)

I was happy. I got a legendary sniper which I only had a rare for. Now all I need is a hand canon for a full set of legendaries.

I got a badger scout rifle :) I'm happy with it as I seem to get very few purple drops this has now replaced my pre DLC scout

9 OdpowiedziI am. I won't be able to open my package until Sunday, but I'm in need of a new legendary. If it's a hand cannon, scout or sniper (please please a sniper) even with bad rolls, I will use it. If it is something else I will shard it, I have a shortage of shards and every one of them is welcome. So either way, I'm very happy. :)

Bungie said it was going to be a small stocking stuffer. Anyone who expected anything more than a Legendary weapon or piece of armor was setting themselves up for disappointment. It was a cool thing for Bungie to do, and I'm grateful for that. They extended Xur when we were having connection issues during Christmas, and they gave us a free legendary weapon. They didn't need to do either. Have a heart people. Good on ya, Bungie. Now....about that next expansion..

I needed a legendary pulse rifle real bad, and I got the coiled hiss from the gift. Not only was it free, bit it was also what I needed. So you can be damn sure that I'm grateful and happy. I also got the marks needed to buy the crucible legendary pistol on the same day. So two new useful legendaries for me. Soo buzzed right now.

The fact it was a free gift is a moot point imo. If they hadn't plugged it so many weeks ago to generate buzz and excitement with it just appearing there in your post master randomly one day, the reaction would have been much more favourable. Anticlimax is the reason there's so much disappointment in the community. The people this free package benefitted the most weren't playing the game when the free item announcement was made. Anyway, time to move on guys.

1 OdpowiedźUsefull for new players, but utterly useless for veteran or players that play for more then two months alteast... 2 Energies to add to the other 200+ rotting in the Vault... Iam tho not going around Twitter, Facebook or the forum spitting poison around. Iam like... "Meh... Whatever" and move on. Took just one click to open.

I got Badger CCL with outlaw and mulligan as the perks so im happy with it.

I have two perspectives on this on one hand I'm not particularly thankful as I got a shotgun which was not particularly good so I dismantled it and got 2 energy to add to the 100+ I already have. On the flip side my son who started playing Destiny at Christmas got a legendary fusion rifle which will be very useful and will make a big difference to his progress so that makes me thankful.

I got a sniper, which would have been great, but it was the exact same one I bought from the vanguard. Still good for shards, which means I can now Maxx out my auto rifle.

I'm thankful. It's a bad roll on a good weapon. I'll shard it, but thank you Bungie for giving me a chance.

Something is better than nothing not like they had to give us something in the first place. So yeah I happy with what they did just wish I got a handcannon but nope a pulse rifle lol, dismantled because I just picked up red death :)

I received a Badger scout rifle, I already have a maxed Mida. I've looked at the dev tree of the Badger and it looks good. I'll keep it so I can change out the Mida and use an exotic in the special or heavy slot. More options, can't complain about that. I appreciate the Xmas gift as it should prove useful. Thanks Bungie :o).
