***Hawkmoon VS Thorn VS The Last Word*** (PVP)
Which one do you think is better ? It would be nice if you answer this question after trying them. Cheers
We take into account all the situations in which you might find yourself in Crucible. (Short range, Mid range, Long range,2 vs 1, and so on)
Edit : For the most part, it seems that the people that can get hawkmoon (PlayStation only) tend to like it more than the other two .
Edit : Yes, I know that the poll isn't entirely accurate because the Xbox users don't have access to hawkmoon.

I have two each hand cannon. I've done the thorn bounty multiple times just for the shard so my experience with each is even. All 3 are amazing weapons and I've had ridiculous scores with each. Thorn - ugliest of the 3 but most deadly because of its ability. Ammo and fire rate make it a solid gun but not the best. The Last Word - if you master firing from the hip and the best times to reload you'll be unstoppable. Not the best hand cannon but can be deadly in the right hands. Hawkmoon - my personal fav exotic and a overall the best hand cannon. Fire rate, most ammo, very high impact along with potential bullets doing more damage make it a beast. Hawkmoon > Thorn > The Last Word Just my opinion.

From my IB experience, hawkmoon is by far the best, yes you MAY not kill in 2 headshots everytime (most often enough) but you MAY kill in 2 body shots so yeah, hawkmoon all the way!

I personally don't like thorn. I hate the green sight, how it handles and that it's kinda easy to get kills with. Tlw is great at close range cuz you can casually just hold the trigger. Hawkmoon is my go to in crucible.

2 OdpowiedziThe last word best gun in the game hands down. It's a shotgun at close range and excels mid range with a sniper for the special, there isn't one situation you'd be at a disadvantage.

Hawkmoon wins, Thorn is just overhyped

32 OdpowiedziI think Last Word is the best. It's fire rate is utterly amazing, as well as its damage, and you get a bonus from it when hip fire. as long as you hip fire it well enough, you can down a person in, quite literally, a second. Also, when you hip fire, there is no penalty to your speed. I love this gun, and got over a 4.00 K/D ratio with it, which I believe is a testimony to what it can do.

Overall it's an exotic with a crutch ability. Both hawkmoon and tlw are much more skill based weapons but still rely way too much on their respective exotic abilities. I've been playing ib for the past couple days and thorn easily loses to a hawkmoon or red death. Red death is an excellent counter.

Honestly i prefer the two raid hand cannons. Fatebringer and word of crota, purely because they aren't better in my eyes but i love the explosive rounds and the burns are quite useful. Also there is allways the benefit of using a legengary in your primary giving you the option to have an exotic in your secondary of heavy. Plus i know it isn't a hand cannon but for pvp i still love vex!

Having used all three extensively, TLW is hands down the best. Thorn is cool if you like getting assists.

I have all 3 and use TLW.. To be fair i havent upgraded the other ones yet, but i cant bring myself to use anything but TLW for PvP

It does make me feel like I easily have the upper hand in pvp though so I dont use it anymore. It's just more fun to drop anyone in sight the with Red Death at a distance, and Swordbreaker/4th Horseman up close LOL! Some hate the Thorn, but anytime I get killed by it, I honestly don't care cuz now I know how hard it can be to earn it. I earned it the right way and anyone else who has should enjoy it freely. Dominate those hoes, make 'em mad haha!
