This post makes me laugh everytime I just think: a traveler is someone who lives in a caravan, has sex with their cousins and doesnt pay taxes.

4 OdpowiedziIt's a gigantic piggy bank. All the guardians deposit their $60 and the traveler in return created all the ghosts to spit door opening exposition. Meanwhile... Eris, seeing the financial success of the traveler, finds the guardians are still gullible as shit and has all the guardians deposit $20 into her ship that is not a real ship at all. It's a piggy bank. In exchange for telepathic exposition that consists of saying Crota 80% of the time. The next HoW vendor will bring his piggy bank as well. But he works for the queen. The queen wants a market share too....

2 OdpowiedziIt`s a very sad disco ball, that has lost it`s light. Without the void, arc and sun burn light, it`s not a disco ball... just a ball. We are to spread the light, so that the traveler again can shine, and we can boogie all night. Why did you think they put in the dance moves?

Someone carrying the basketball without dribbling

Edytowany przez użytkownika TheGeekHunter: 4/11/2015 11:20:23 PMGog, magog, an old warlock osiris, LOL! or maybe his wife Isis. Could even be their kid horus. The pathgerian reincarnated. Regardless it is some form of a Masonic God claiming to be mankind's savior resurrecting people from the dead. The inner court to the lodge is located through a secret door in the tower. We are only allowed to the outer court because we are only a 32nd degree guardians and below. At least the blue and red wings are open to us. I have not yet reached the secret degrees up to the 98th so I am denied access to the inner courts and the secret knowledge of the traveler.

3 OdpowiedziThis is actually explained in the very first clip scene when you start the game. The Traveler is mysterious, for we know not where it came from or what it's goals are, but we do know that it's discovery led to the Golden Age. It's like a savior of sorts, a being greater than ourselves that gave us knowledge, freedom, and life. And because of what it did for us, we loved it. It doesn't do anything now because of the battles it had with the Darkness. The Traveler sacrificed itself to save us, and now hangs nearly dead above the city. The last known action the Traveler made was creating the Ghosts, thus bringing to life the first Guardians. This is all information that can be obtained within the game, and not by some secret side quest or description of a weapon somewhere. It's in the actual story, voice acted and everything. All you have to do is pay attention a little bit, and of coarse if you are not satisfied with that information, there are Grimore Cards specifically about the Traveler. You should look at them if you can, but if you don't have them, then I can post them here for you to look at.

He's the entity that took ENS Westley Crusher off the USS Enterprise to travel the universe.
-
1 OdpowiedźThe traveler is what gave you the space magic you have. Probably also provided the knowledge to terraform the planets into livable space. There is no telling if it is good or bad but if you listen to the speeches and read the grimore cards , the Traveler is what brought on the golden age.... And then swiftly had us fight it's battles for it. Another question, where did the Hive come from. Unless the other species drove them from another planet. The game says "we gave up the moon to keep Earth safe" so they didn't come from the moon but they aren't on any planet we have visited so far?

Bungie isn't going to tell you that.. Any more than a movie studio is going to tell you how the movie ends in the first five minutes of the film.

Epcot Center?

1 OdpowiedźBungie doesn't even know what it is. They were just like "let's put a big glowing ball in the sky and see what everyone's theories about it are and make a 2nd game off those theories"

8 OdpowiedziThis is just the start of the game, there are many add ons to come which will wrap up the story, so how about you stop moaning about not knowing the story when its being told in a paced manner and not all at one point, that kinda ruins the point of a games story...
