(Disclaimer: This is PvP related post)
We know its true..
Ask almost any Titan, we are underpowered, and to some degree "broke" (looking at you Catapault!)
We have no skillset to act as a crutch for a subpar player.
A poorly played Warlock or Hunter can fall back on a skillset to help him along. Ranged melee or easy to aquire sheilds, ranged specials to avoid the onslaught of CQC weapons, Blinks to enhance attacks or evade incoming fire, etc....the list of skills a Warlock/Hunter can utilize in PvP can boost up even the worst player.
A Titan has to rely on his skills as an FPS player first. His map knowledge, his skill with his chosen weapon, his.."trickery".
Melee avoidable by other classes by "taking a step back" An oversheild he must use his "must be in sneeze distance" melee to gain a kill to aquire. A special he must run into the fight to use, to which he routinely knows the feeling off eating shells before he lands it. A bubble most enemies see as a "Target to aquire mutikills!".
Did I mention the broke jump skill?
Cue the "Bu-Bu-But Shoulder Charge is soooo OP Mr. Titan"...
Yes, you died to it, maybe twice in a round, so its god like.
Did that Titan hit you from the front? Well then you must SUCK..cause us Titans know, 9 out of 10 times SC from the front means a death for us.
Yes shoulder charge is OP godmode cause a Titan took the time to get a running start, had a small window of time to land it, and he flanked you hitting you from the side or back...and to that I had to use that new thing all the kids are throwing aroud on these boards lately and say "Shut up Meg, Git Gud"
I myself am hardly a "great Titan" but I see those beast out there on the battlefield wrecking fools. My hats off to you. You guys are the true PvP beastmode players of the Crucible/IB

Titan is definitely my favourite class. So dope.
-
All class have the same skill levwl, i have one of each.
-
Lmao +1 for effort.
-
4 OdpowiedziMy Titan was boringly easy. PvP = Should Charge, overshields, hard counter to every super in the game. PvE = All serious encounters can be cheesed.
-
4 OdpowiedziNaa, hunters are hardest to play as because you can't panic and if you screw up there's no going back and your dead
-
This is the 1st time i heard someone say the titan is underpowered i use my titan and they have the best grenades lighting, flash, pulse, magnet, suppression hell their great class every class has its weakness if you dont like the class weakness you might want to switch classes
-
1 OdpowiedźYou're so right it's not even funny. It's very difficult to drop a bubble on a control point and whip out a shotgun. +10 cool points for you.
-
5 OdpowiedziAre you on drugs? Hunter is THE hardest class to play as. Takes the most skill. We can't hide in bubbles like you pussys.
-
2 OdpowiedziStop Bitching this is the route you took
-
2 OdpowiedziThere's a reason it's commonly referred to as "Fist of Panic". It requires no skill. Titan have shoulder charge. Additional shields after running. I'm not crying that they are overpowered but they sure as hell are not under powered.
-
I play void warlock and 90% of the time I'm not even really caring that I'm using a warlock I rarely use my granade so really the big difference is my super that gives me 2-3 kills if I'm lucky but normally I die more to supers then I get kills with them, see what I'm saying here, your class means nothing in pvp and in fact the defender titans probly have the best super for pvp I'm control Atlest, you put that on a point the point is your but still it normally happens so rarely that I never really notice. The real class that takes most skill in the game is the one that has to use guns for 75% ya know, all of them
-
All this is 100% correct. If you deny it... You ... Are ... Just stupid!
-
Ahem. The defender class titan is difficult to use in PvP. But striker class? Very good. Fists of panic are awesome in PvP. Same with the grenades.

Edytowany przez użytkownika sonicSalX: 12/29/2014 12:54:05 AMYeah right. Just played pvp as my brothers Titan and wrecked it harder than I usually do with my hunter. Got 3 kills each time I used FoH. 3.63k/d for that match.

Edytowany przez użytkownika LegendaryKnight: 12/29/2014 12:08:57 AMI agree. The hunter is so op as they are guaranteed 2-4 kills with GG or 1-6 kills with BD. Those are extra kills that titans and warlocks have to get lucky to get. The sunsinger warlocks have flame shields, and two fusion grenades which guarantee a kill each. If they use their super to reduce incoming damage, they're almost unstoppable. The striker titan takes the most skill. I know because I've played a large amount with all the characters. They have to time the shoulder charge right, wait to use their super on a group of enemies meaning waiting even longer for my super to regenerate. Our melee range suck so bad I don't even use it, I had one titan enemy player in front of me punch the air twice before I killed him. Overall, titan strikers take the most skill. Hunters can go suck one.
-
Their the most boring by a long way that's a fact

1 OdpowiedźAmen brother!!

You obviously haven't played Pvp enough with each class to judge what is OP. I have not yet tried out a Titan but I'm a decently skilled player and I can guarantee it would not be as hard as your making it sound. You guys dominate control with a bubble that just chills on a flag and your fist of panic is one of the best supers in the game for clearing an area. That being said shoulder charge may not be extremely op but I can guarantee its better then the hunter throwing knife.
-
Face it, no.
-
2 OdpowiedziIf you're even a decent player then, none of the classes really take a whole lot of skill to play.
-
#satire game is too strong
-
I love my titan and it is my main hell i dont even touch my hunter or warlock anymore but they all arent different enough to make one more difficult then the others
-
My titan avatar salutes you
-
