I faced an entire team of Suros Regime
It was ridiculous. I sat back and just listened to all the pew pew pew pew pew.
At one point I watched 2 shoot at one guy on my team and not kill him, but continued firing for 3sec after he'd backed up clear out of sight.
I swear Suros is the noob calling card of Destiny.

2 OdpowiedziLet people play like they want. I have played IB this week and I've been hit by a wide variety of weapons. People will use their favorite weapons and besides it's not like at this point there are hundreds of weapons to choose from.

I remember joining into a game where the entire other team had vex mythoclasts before nerf. I left immediately but you could imagine all six of them shooting at the same time. One is annoying enough.

1 OdpowiedźWhy is it that an effective weapon is a noob weapon? I've seen just as many Shadow Price and Last Word as I've seen Suros. I'm not great with hand cannons and only have Thorn but just because I get killed by somebody with Last Word doesn't make it a noob gun. The plasma pistol and BR/DMR combo was called the noob combo because people kept getting killed by it but that doesn't mean it was noob. I hated that combo because other people were good with it and I didn't like to play that way. Oh well. And yes, I use Suros. I like the trade off of slower fire rates for higher damage and less recoil.

1 OdpowiedźThe reason SUROS Regime is so popular in Iron Banner right now is because of the Auto Rifle headshot bounty. SUROS Regime is the most accurate AR thanks to the slower fire rate, which lets it quickly get headshots. I used mine to finish the bounty, then switched over to Atheon's Epilogue or Thorn. For a while I was even rocking Bad Juju and killing the SUROS users. It's really not as powerful as all these topics make it out to be. It's just common because Bungie made a bounty that caters perfectly for it. Shotguns and fusion rifles are still the most common weapons in Crucible/Iron Banner, and are still one-shotting people at ranges that should barely hit them. It's almost as if the balance changes(nerfs) to those weapons had no effect.

8 OdpowiedziThe only reason your seeing a hell of a lot of them in IB is because everyday bungie is giving us the same bounties and Suros is just the easiest weapon to do the AR head shots with.

5 OdpowiedziTis why I stayed away from PVP. I wouldn't mind playing it but Bungie made this crap system of leveling weapons up individually so I have to level every gun up to be competitive (waste time) and when I do, Bungie has the ability to nerf... They nerfed everything so this one gun comes ahead, IMO, they need to go back to the drawing board with their weapons system.

1 OdpowiedźI do believe they said something about they didn't want any weapon to be the clearly superior go-to weapon. I don't usually call for nerfs but it's kind of ridiculous in there right now. Not that I can't take a Suros user with a handcannon, but it's range is way inappropriate for an AR

The reason I dislike using suros is its boring as watching paint dry to use. Not just that I feel like a sweaty scumbag using it and totally oppose the logic of well if everyone uses it I will use it, that kind of attitude is retarded. There is no sense of individuality now in this game it's conformity 101, personally I just use the devil you know and teabag every suros user for being a boring conformist. The excuse of a 20 headshot bounty? Best excuse ever if you can't get 20 headshots using any other auto rifle that's probably the reason you use suros in the first place.

Happend to me a bunch of times. It don't bother me or my Hawkmoon at all. And yes the suros is a crucible noob weapon.
