Why on earth are you jumping into cheese spots for level 24 strikes?
Seriously. They're all made of paper compared to you. Stop being a pansy and fight them properly, it's a lot quicker.
Edit: didn't realise there were so many precious little flowers around here. Level 30s dying on strikes, whatever next? *shakes head*

why not?

1 OdpowiedźWell some bounties required you to not die in a strike.

1 OdpowiedźI'm level 29 and I die in Tiger Strikes. ARREST ME!

1 OdpowiedźDid you really just say that?....

Ain't nobody got time for that.

Lvl 30 Master Class Warlock checking in. We're just trying to fit in with our peers. We're basically like Clark Kent among you humans.
-
102 OdpowiedziBecause you filthy casual. When you get to a spot like that the boss stops and can't do damage to you and is just sitting there. It goes way more quickly which means your ass gets carried faster so shut up and let us do it how we want. There is a reason we are that high. It's having smart tactics. Not going Rambo.
-
At this point running around killing ads during the boss is a pain in the butt and a waste of time. I only do the strikes for the marks, reputation, and cryptarch lvl so I whatever works the fastest is where I'll be. It's only 5 strikes for Xbox over and over again. Not to mention back to back same map sometimes. And even though I'm running through I still usually get the most kills 0.o

4 OdpowiedziYou realize defense is capped, right? A level 24 takes the same damage from a 24 enemy as a level 29 does.

3 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika TIMBURWOLF: 11/12/2014 5:28:47 PMHey OP: Why does how others play concern you? Man up and kill the bosses if others are wasting your precious time. Or bounce and find another group of Rambos such as yourself. And what's with the dramatic *shakes head*? Do you realize what a drama queen you come off as? *points finger at fukking dork and laughs*...

I saw some guy doing that on a Tiger Strike at the Arkon Priest. I could believe what I was seeing.
-
I dont care if people cheese but its always funny seeing them do it on the Archon Priest. You can get his health down halfway before he even makes it to the cheese spots so why bother?
-
5 OdpowiedziOk I would not like to die. You're so stupid I bet you've given every person that ever responded to this thread a reason to mute your ass. So let's put it this way. If I can't really die by a massive amount of level 24 mobs then yes you're right but I can be killed by being over runned. So of course we're going to find spots where we can filter the incoming mobs so we can take the bosses down.
-
2 OdpowiedziI beat all the strikes legitimately. Now I use the environmental loopholes to get through them faster. They're all easy to get through without dying but why would I want to spend and extra 5-10min dodging the boss and killing ads?
-
5 OdpowiedziBecause of the idiotic scaling of this game even a level 29 or 30 can get completely owned by (one shot kills and taking massive damage) Level 24 strike bosses. If this were any other game I would wholeheartedly agree with your sentiments on staying completely out of harms way when you are a higher level than the enemies, but as this is not the case I see no problem with higher level characters finding hiding spots on strikes at all.

1 OdpowiedźMy experience is that Winter's Run is quicker if you get under the porch and that The Nexus is quicker from the top. I'm more concerned with your assertion of this "proper" gameplay. Might as well tell a defender not to pass the ball to his goalkeeper because [reasons]. If you want to play something a certain way, find just 2 other people that share your vision. Otherwise, you're just as valid as the next teammate -- no more, no less.
-
Wow this is so true, I have seen lvl 30/29 hide and try to cheese strikes so when they die I dance on their body lol
-
The lvl of the strike doesn't really matter.. You take the same damage from a lvl 2 as you take from a lvl 24 if you're 25+.. With that being said, the only cheese spot I go to is on the nexus strike, because those damn minotours are annoying

Edytowany przez użytkownika ThePurger80: 11/12/2014 5:10:54 PMI would never cheese a tiger strike ever but that's just me they are way too easy
-
I don't want to ruin my stats. That's the only thing I care about.
-
I only use hiding spots for nightfall and level 28 weekly heroic since those are really difficult. I don't really see a purpose to using them in a level 24 strike since the enemies cannot hit as hard, and there is plenty of cover in each boss room.

2 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika HeadButtYoNut: 11/12/2014 5:41:11 PMWhile I agree there is 0 reason to use the cheap spots in a 24 strike, what I ask you to understand is that 27/28/29/30 are all the same damage/defense in those strikes. There is no super cool damage boost to level 30 sadly EXCEPT when in hard mode raid and it is only doing full damage. You deal the same damage at level 30 in normal raid as a level 28(hell maybe even 27) does in the raid)
-
I don't lol I do consider it sometimes, but then I remind myself wait I'm 29 on a lvl24 strike there's no need.
-
No. Ill play how I want to play. Don't like it OP? Well then you are SOL aren't you?

7 Odpowiedziits clear you don't understand what "level scaling in destiny" is. Goggle it then come back and delete this waste of a thread. your welcome
