Obviously a large percentage of users on Bungie.net don't care, so there's nothing else needed to be said.
It's sad to see how far Bungie.net (and indeed Bungie itself) has fallen.

20 OdpowiedziHas been happening to Ps3 for 6 years... First time in a while PS gets exclusive content, an the Xbox community is in a uproar about it. I play on 360, so don't start with the fanboy shit. Feel free to look up my stats, games played, gamerscore whatever makes you happy. Haven't owned a PS console in a very long time. Just tired of seeing this argument as a thread. You complain Destiny is doing this but don't mention the new Tomb Raider that is exclusive for a year to X1, or COD DLC a month ahead of any other platform, most likely didn't mind GTA 4 having DLC content exclusive for a year either. Hypocrites is what the Xbox community is, can't wait to get my computer this December then wait until Sony drops the price on the PS4. You kids on Xbox amaze me, majority of the community act like children on Xbox no matter the age, main reason I never want an X1.

Lol shut up Meg.

4 OdpowiedziHappy to say I am glad of the exclusivity and will be purchasing both expansions.

21 OdpowiedziDying? lol Riiiiiiiight.

Last gen Xbox had plenty of exclusive deals. If a game was better than on PS3 I either didn't play it or got it later on when I had a 360 for a short period. It strikes me as funny that people are only complaining about how "gamers aren't happy" this much once the exclusive deals have flipped on them.

Edytowany przez użytkownika ZERO XVII 17: 11/6/2014 8:25:10 PMThis is dumb. They should have just made the whole pack a one-month exclusive like all other timed DLC.
-
7 OdpowiedziI wouldn't be so sour about the DLC exclusivity if Bungie was't a Xbox exclusive company before. It's spitting in the face of their fanbase, which is just wrong.
-
Timed dlc exclusivity is nothing new. It won't go away until people stop buying it. It's that simple.
-
Honestly, I hate timed exclusives on any console. And it wouldn't be so irritating if it was a month or even 90 days but a year is ridiculous. Fact of the matter is, if we as consumers keep allowing this crap, they'll continue to do it.

1 OdpowiedźAre you implying this is new information?

I'm happy. Go ahead and alienate x-bone. Anyone who still bought it after all their decision flip flopping at e3 deserves what they get.

3 OdpowiedziHey Playstation guy, your post is making Xbox players look whiny as hell and I think I'll speak for all of us that actually aren't whiny little bastards (We acknowledge that there are a fair many) we don't need that. I get that you are trying to support us but it's not really helping.

5 OdpowiedziNo they aren't, no it doesn't, and no it isn't.

2 OdpowiedziWell I'm so glad I got the LE for 360 and already put in the expansion pass

13 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika BostonUltd: 11/6/2014 3:27:56 PMlol where's your sarcasm tag? Xbox always gets the exclusive's. If you want to leave due to some exclusive content then please, leave. COD:AW is waiting for you, noob.
-
2 OdpowiedziI'm fanboying the game allot, just because I like the way it plays. I'll have to say this guy raises some good points. For the most part I really hate that PlayStation gets an extra raid when there is such a little amount of content already. Also does anyone know if Xbox will eventually get the strike? That all being said, see you in destiny.

4 OdpowiedziAfter thinking more on this subject it's a bad business practice and it's not good for the industry. This exclusivity isn't like Call of Duty timed exclusive, both Xbox and PS gamers paid $15 for four maps, no content being held back from one console over another. While with the expansion both Xbox and PS gamers are paying the same amount of money yet Xbox gets a portion of their content held back at least a year it makes it seem that Xbox users are paying for less content.

2 OdpowiedziXbox gamers are not happy, and Destiny is far from dying

1 OdpowiedźLet them have teh GREATNESS. We have the MCC.
-
+1 for shitty dlc practice
-
I do think this exclusive platform console BS needs to end. But, we got a lot of content for $60. Video games aren't going to be $60 bucks forever.
-
I love how people are acting surprised at anything about or in this game. First it was this isn't the game I was promised... The alpha and beta where a clear indication of what the game was. Thousands of hours of footage and articles. Now it's this dlc and exclusive shit. They said from day one that playstation was the place to play destiny. If a single individual thinks that a dlc isn't worth it then they won't by it. None of these posts will change a single persons mind to not buy it. And lastly I'm sick of people acting like $60 is so overpriced for hundreds of hours of entertainment. A blu-ray movie is like $19-25 and that's 3 hours max. How many times are you really going to watch that same movie. But a game you can play for hundreds of hours and hundreds of ways for $60 oh no F that I'm getting robbed...
-
1 OdpowiedźSo sick of these threads people will buy what ever they want it's call free will. Stop moaning. we don't care if you don't buy the dlc it does not effect anybody else in any way shape or form. So deal with the fact that people still love this game despite its obvious faults

Exlusive deals are a f@#$@! useless in all games, but crying doesnt change anything! I dont care what other consoles get or not i play my game and i enjoy it. Look at all other "aaa" titles this crap is everywhere or even better than this exklusive stuff is that we are forced to buy a season Pass in nearly every new game. This is what realy should care u but a few weapons maps and a strike who cares? I played about ~ 200hours now and i still like the hard raid and cant remember a single Multiplayer game that gives me this experience! Go buy assassins creed with its 40 hours and buy the season Pass giving you 2 New Story missions and New weapons. Nobody crys about this shit

It's sadly to late. Deals have been made. It's business , I'm on ps4 and I think it sucks. But, it's really no different to how other ( no gaming ) company's have do business for years. It's a business model, and one that works .
