Obviously a large percentage of users on Bungie.net don't care, so there's nothing else needed to be said.
It's sad to see how far Bungie.net (and indeed Bungie itself) has fallen.

4 OdpowiedziGamers are the worst fans. We complain if a game is to shallow (cod) we complain if its to hard (dark souls) we complain if its to easy (dark souls fanboys) we complain if sequels are no different (cod again) we complain if sequels are too different (resident evil). 57 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika Nethrinox: 11/9/2014 5:37:29 AMWe all new, at least a year in advance of the game's launch, that the PS4 was going to have a metric shit ton of exclusive content. The Ps4 is also the stronger console from a technical stand point. You knew all this yet still bought an xbone. Buy a PS4 or shut the F^ck up about this. It's getting really old people.

So much this. +1 your article Now time to argue with desticles for fun.

Edytowany przez użytkownika Ruined: 11/8/2014 10:11:57 PMThe uproar over a single exclusive DLC strike further proves Destiny is content starved, almost like an overpriced F2P game. If the game had 22 strikes, having only 20 strikes would not be much of an issue. But with only 8 strikes, a reduction to 6 is stretching thin content even thinner. The end result of all of this will be that people will not trust Bungie for future games (especially Xbox users, but also PS users as two extra strikes does not fix the dearth of content). As a result, sales of future Bungie titles will suffer, and that's not counting the talent Bungie lost during this games dev cycle. Activision will likely come out of this fairly clean even if they made the deal, as Destiny is seen as Bungies creation. It does not bode well for Destiny in the long term. At the same time, there is likely little Bungie can do now to alter the fate they have chosen with their Activision contract.

2 OdpowiedziAs long as the exclusives don't cost me money to obtain I'm 100% ok with it

1 OdpowiedźWait... I'm Happy. I purchased the Playstation 4 being well informed ahead of time that Playstation would be the best place to play Destiny.

32 OdpowiedziThe games not dying, the population is balancing out. It happens to every online game after the initial surge of players and people always scream that it's dying. Coming from an Xbox player, I don't care about the exclusives. We never had them in the first place, so they aren't being taken away.

64 OdpowiedziHey everyone! :D Anyone remember last gen? When Xbox had 100's of exclusivity deals and Playstation always had the short end of the stick? Lol at the rage now. I don't remember this much butthurt over exclusive deals from PS users last Gen.

I'll definitely agree to this even though I'm on PS4. It's just so petty to take away exotics and missions from one console.
-
24 OdpowiedziU guys act like this "exclusive dlc" is such a large portion of the game when in reality ps4 get a shitty strike, armor that I have seen no one wear. And exotics that are so rare that ive only seen 1 of like 20 players use. So are xbox players really missing anything? Is their experience significantly hampered because they don't have the CHANCE to get 2 guns? Stop trying to make shit worse than it really is.

Normally I would tell you to Shut up Meg... however, after reading this I think I might have to agree with your assessment. HAHAHAHA!!! https://games.yahoo.com/blogs/plugged-in/-destiny--developer--swatted--by-idiotic-pranksters-181957391.html

Xbox has been getting exclusives over PS forever. Get over it.
-
Exclusivity is a part of gaming. Xbox gets plenty of timed exclusives. ( Call of duty Dlc, etc.) Bungie and activision just have a contract with playstation. It's not alienating the gaming community. I truly think you are just on Xbox and getting pissed because you don't have it. Well this is probably how psn players have felt for quite a while. But did it alienate them? No it didn't. So I'm sorry but it's not alienating Xbox. So please get over yourself and move on. Thank you and have a nice day.

4 OdpowiedziThis is why I didn't buy the dlc.

1 OdpowiedźIt's a good thing they marketed heavily for playstation, because pretty soon that's where the bulk of there income will be coming from. I just wonder how long it'll be till playstation users realized they're getting jipped.

8 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika CrimsonVlk23: 11/7/2014 6:34:40 PMThe biggest issue I have with this is the year long wait or however long it is. Even on most past exclusives for either platform, its normally only a month or two wait. What they don't realize is that by making Xbox users wait this long to get the content that Sony is getting, paying the same price, the majority of these Xbox players aren't even going to be playing Destiny by the time this exclusive content is available. They are going to lose a significant portion of the playerbase by doing this. I have no issue with Launch exclusives, that's fine, but making one platform wait an extensive amount of time for post launch DLC is complete BS.

Edytowany przez użytkownika homemadenutsauce: 11/7/2014 7:04:05 PMI'm on PS4 and I agree. If it was the other way round I'd be crazy pissed. I'm not buying this DLC anyway. Activision ruined this game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UZ5BpeHVTWY Hopefully the franchise can turn it around in the future though. EDIT: As for the day one sales, they are not a gauge for the success of this game. If anything all they say is that the ad campaign worked. This game had the highest number of pre-orders for a new IP, ever. So yeah, now those pre-orders are a thing of the past you better start on a better track or I, and the majority of my friends, are gone.

12 OdpowiedziShouldn't you be complaining to Microsoft, brohemian rhapsody?

I totally agree with you. I'm so pissed I bought dlc early. I'm beyond pissed bungie and Activision are milking us. We need to stand up for ourselves and make this issue known and make sure bungie knows we are all fed up. Watch the video everyone. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=UZ5BpeHVTWY

1 OdpowiedźEdytowany przez użytkownika J South: 11/7/2014 4:50:21 PMThe gaming community really can't blame anyone but themselves. If these overpriced, content lacking DLCs weren't purchased, then the devs would see they can't pull this shit. The opposite is happening though and people continue to buy shit DLC, further lining the pockets of the devs who make shit, overpriced DLC. The only way this crap will cease is if the consumer says -blam!- off with their wallets. This will never happen though because people enjoy wasting their money on shit apparently.
