Obviously a large percentage of users on Bungie.net don't care, so there's nothing else needed to be said.
It's sad to see how far Bungie.net (and indeed Bungie itself) has fallen.

Even your 'sampling' shows that the people bitching are just as ignorant elsewhere as all the cryhards here. No one's forcing them to play it. Just like no one forces you or me to play it. I play it cause I honestly enjoy it with friends. It's not like there's no other games out. Granted, I'm slightly dissapointed in the amount of content in the DLC's, but I'm more dissapointed in all the people chanting how bungie -blam!-ed xbox or the people saying all the content is already on the disc, just locked. Misinformed gamers parroting bad info and spreading the butthurt to more ignorant gamers.

8 OdpowiedziYou mean like how Bethesda released Fallout 3 DLC for everything except PS3 and came out saying there were no plans for PS3 DLC and the huge backlash behind it eventually leading to PS3 getting the DLC waaaaay down the line? Gamers get screwed all the time by choosing certain consoles. Get used to it because it's not gonna change when money is on the line.

3 Odpowiedzii bought the one that came with the 2 DLCs as well. however, I do not recall reading anything saying that the DLC would also have exclusive content as well, i was aware of the "base" game. so now i have to ask how many more DLCs will have things locked for Xbone until they are well past relevancy? all of them? or, were these exclusive parts of the dlc actually part of the base game and dubbed exclusive and that perpetuated into the split of the story to the DLCs. if the 3rd has exclusive year locked strikes or story missions i will not be buying it.

Sadly I bought the limited edition, so I've already played for my dlc. If I had known how sparse it was I would likely have not bought it. Currently the game is gathering dust, I played through a lot of hours telling myself I was having fun but at some point I hit a wall.

Ive enjoyed the game. Still do. Over 100 hours in a game in just 2 months is a great value to me. I dont like the exclusivity, but Sony paid for it. It hurts the game, but just missing one strike isnt stopping me from getting the DLC. That could change by next DLC, but not this one.
