It's sad to see how far Bungie.net (and indeed Bungie itself) has fallen.

First of all, I don't know anyone who was stupid enough to buy the 100 dollar version of the game, and therefore I nor any of my friends have payed over 100 dollars. Second of all, the community isn't dying, it's thriving. All you see is hate posts half the time, but the more I pay attention the more I see posts like "[Console] raid groups here!" or "exotic bounty help" or "helping newbs with raid". You see, it's people like you that litter the forums with complaints and posts no one cares about. Let me tell you something, few care about your complaints. The people that do care probably don't even play the game much. Finally, yes there are some bugs. Yes some guns need nerfs. Yes there are problems. But look at every other hyped game. Each one isn't perfect at launch. Want examples? Halo 4, battlefield 3 and 4, numerous COD games, etcetera etcetera. If all of you complainers will just be patient and wait for bungie to find a good balance, they will release it.

Microsoft has twice as many DLC timed exclusives as Sony. Granted, we're talking about 4 games to 2, but there you are..

Recheck the dark below official page. It states 1 strike is a part of the dlc. There is a second exclusive one that is free to all players coming out with the bounty pouch upgrade. In short your buying the same content across consols. And the exclusive free strike is free. Now before you hate. I dont think it should be exclusive for a year but Atleast your not paying for it.

Dying and declining are two very different things. WoW was up for 6 months before it even hit Destiny numbers. At this point your argument is irrelevant.

Destiny is a game I can come home from work to, sit down, relax and have a laugh with my mates while shooting things in the face. I've had a tonne of enjoyment for the $60 I spent and I'm sure I'll get a lot more for the $20 I'm about to spend. Looking forward to the DLC.

I think destiny sucks and the only reason I'll continue to play is because I digitally downloaded it with the season pass. But how is DLC in season passes for Destiny any different than CoD, Watchdogs, Lord of the Rings, etc? Too many people crying. Grow tf up or don't buy it, you broke bums lol

I'm sorry but ps3 gamers had to deal with that and much worse for the last 9 years. It happens. I'm sorry that as a xbox gamer this is probably your first time dealing with it. Hell, even CoD is having xbox exclusives. Also, in the past I've seen forums where ps gamers were mocked, laughed at and shot down for the same complaints. As someone who had a 360 and a ps3 I know what it's like to be on both sides and I'm honestly amazed at how xbox players are reacting when no one gave a crap when it was ps players getting screwed for almost a decade.

I'm bummed about not getting what PS4 gets, but its not a deal breaker. I'll still play because I enjoy the game. Bungie/Activision aren't the first game developers to create a special market for a particular console. If it were the otherway around, we'd hear the same crying from PS users. There comes a point when you either shut up and play, or get rid of the game. Make up your minds.

Honestly looking at the first DLC content most people will have played through all of it (except maybe the raid) in one day, and back to the same old repetitive grind afterwards. If the story was more well developed it would be captivating, and if there was even a fraction of the variety and customizability of PvP modes as in Halo, there would be more long-term engagement. But at this point, a lot of Destiny players will probably move en masse once the next "big thing" hits. For me that'll be Bloodbourne, in all likelihood.
