Ok, I need to calm down. Sorry for my outburst of emotion, but I'm going to be straight. With this announcement, I've lost almost all hope in the future of this game. I cannot even begin to fathom what the -blam!- they are thinking. Experimental storytelling? This sounds like a flimsy excuse for more grinding. Not the fact that the recent patch glitched the hell out of the Atheon fight, contradicted the VoG Lore, and was basically a slap in the face to the team players? I don't know about you, but doing "exotic bounty-styled" quests does not sound like fun, it sounds supiciously like more grinding. Here's a revolutionary idea about storytelling, how about interweaving the narrative into the gameplay in a manner that counts? Or even better yet, simply include skippable cut-scenes at the beginning and end of each mission? An even better question: Why am I giving my feedback? Why is ANYBODY giving feedback? The devs really don't care about the community. At the end of the day, it is all about making money. That's what a business is, isn't it? Well, it's apparent that penny-squeezing has taken a bigger priority over making a quality product. It's a shameful business strategy, but one that works considering the overwhelming amount of mindless sheep. This is not the company I loved. The people who made Bungie great seem to have been silenced, fired, or they left for 343. I've lost hope for this game, so I'm going to try to sell it. I may even include my autograph on it. I'll still be around on these forums since I still love the community, but I'm done with Destiny for now. If you guys by some miracle, make a huge u-turn and start turning out good content, then maybe...I'll pick up Destiny again. But I don't see that happen. Why should you care about what we think when you guys are making billions? DeeJ, I love you (no homo), but your superiors are killing the company. Their incredible incompetence and asinine asshattery is too much for me to handle. Tomorrow I'm going to return Destiny. Or find some way to trick some fool into buying it. I'll lurk on the forums since I still love the community, but this game has been nothing but lies, glitches, baffling decisions, and a series of consecutive cluster-blam!-s. Cue the sheep.
