How to get out of school for Destiny
Can anyone leave their methods for getting out of school. I don't plan to make this a habit, It's just for launch day. And if you leave comments about missing education, my school has a make up work system for kids who are absent. Also before you assume I'm an immature kid, I'm a junior in highschool. And if you're going to comment "Just stay in school, Destiny will be there." Thats not what I'm asking for so don't comment. Any ideas? [b]EVERYONE STOP REPLYING TO THIS POST! IT'S OVER A MONTH OLD.[/b]

This is my strategy for missing school days when I want (I too am also a Junior in High School). Now what I do is... 1) Get good grades 2) Tell my parents I'm not going to school that day because I will be able to maintain those good grades 3) Play Destiny from dawn till dusk on 9/9

Think of something that makes you sick while eating mushy cereal. You will most likely throw up. If your parents realize what you did threaten to do it during lunch if they make you go to school.

Video games probably did more for my intellect than high school did. Stay gamers kids! Ofcourse, this was before the time of Call of Doody, when games like Myst actually made you get a notepad and write clues down, i even mapped out the maze with the mechanical tram using a notebook! Really wish brain power would come back as a requirement for modern games instead just eye-thumb twitch coordination..

9 OdpowiedziCut off your toe. The little toe on your non-dominant foot. You'll never miss it and it won't impede your video gaming. You'll even get pain meds AND your mom will get you drinks and bring you snacks. I'm 36 and was recently hospitalized and then had to come home and was pretty much couch-ridden/bed-ridden for a month and a half. My wife and my mom would bring me food (even though I couldn't eat it) and drinks and check up on me. I played video games and watched Numb3rs. Though I was in a lot of pain it was great for my trophy count. Up to 18 Platinums if I remember correctly. Plus Vicodin. Ohhhh...the Vicodin.

4 OdpowiedziIm going straight up to my college professor the day before and saying "Hey I wont be here tomorrow, there's a new game im gonna be going hard on all night tonight and all day tomorrow so what are my assignments? I'll get them done and see you wednesday." Honesty is always a good option.

Just miss school what are they gonna do to you there isnt anything they can do about it. You miss a day of school not the end of the world

I did this shit all the time, I just politely asked my mom if it would be cool for me to stay home that day because a very big game is releasing. Always ask months ahead though, at least that's what worked for me. Even got to miss almost a whole week for cataclysm when that released lol.
