At around 0:15, we get to see the sunsinger's offensive capabilities in action.
Take note that Radiance's text says that it dramatically increases the abilities of the user. Also take note that there is an ability within the sunsinger tree that lets them carry two grenades, and that the solar grenade functions like the vortex grenade.
Now in the video we see a sunsinger use radiance and eliminate a pike with a scorch melee. This means that radiance grants the same amount of damage a nova bomb would. This also means that other abilities, namely grenades, would gain the radiance modifier. As sunsingers are capable of having two grenades, you could effectively drop two nova bombs per radiance at different times during its charge

Thanks to Jonah Flex for posting the video here in the forums first
I love how that warlock just went "away with you!" and the pike disappears
I don't know if Sunsinger is better, but it is certainly powerful. Void Walker spec is a great deal of fun, but I think I'll prefer Sunsinger. I looked at the talent tree for it and I immediately thought: "I am so going to roll a Sunsinger when Destiny goes live." Sunsinger has lots of utility and empowers the player to do some really cool stuff, so I'm gonna roll a Sunsinger. Too bad it won't be possible to start out at level 1 as one, or at least that is what the beta seems to indicate. Hopefully that will be changed when the game is released. ^_^
