What do you do?
I've been curious to know what it is that everyone here does for work when they are not impatiently waiting for Destiny.
Feel like sharing?
I work for a power utility as an apprentice lineman in Florida. We construct new pole lines, repair/replace/restore power outages, work on a 7620v/13.2kv/23kv system, and generally save the world and hear cha-ching whenever it rains.
Let me add a thanks to everyone who participated! Today (8/21/14) is my birthday. Today, I finally had a topic reach 1000+ posts! Thank you Bungie community for a pretty cool bday present. :)

Just left the military, relaxing for the summer then going to Uni next year. I'll most likely get a job this winter, but I have no idea what I could with the qualifications I have.

Graduated High school this year. Going to volunteer for a fire department and look for job while I wait to get my driver's license. I may end up joining the Air Force as well.

2 OdpowiedziAs of right now I am a stay at home dad. I have a 3 year old little girl who is my life. Though I love being home all day with her I [b]HATE[/b] not doing more to provide. I am looking for work but seems like there is nothing for me. Considering going to school for Network Admin, Computer Networking. If anyone is in that field can you give me a little insight on how it is? I love computers but I'm not sure if that would be a good way to go? Great topic btw.

I cook at a high volume upscale sports bar in Waikiki. Funny thing, Hawaii...line cook is actually a good job, due to tourism. Shit, in this state, becoming a bar tender is something to aspire to. I have friends who pull down $200-300 a night.
