3 OdpowiedziI already pre-ordered mine. Decided to splurge this time and get the Traveler Edition. It comes with a really cool life-size replica of the Traveler, which lights up and terraforms any planet it's on when someone triggers its motion sensor. Pretty cool.

There were leaked court documents from a lawsuit involving Activision. In these court documents, it was revealed that Activision was in a 10 year contract with Bungie for 4 Destiny games, to be released every other year.

2 OdpowiedziIt was stated in their contract with activision that the IP Destiny would contain a minimum of 3 (4?) releases. As well, Bungie themselves stated that Destiny would be the start of a new trilogy for them. So expect to see more in the future (albeit nextgen exclusive next time around)
-

DLC planet expansions, missions, strikes, maybe a raid.
-
Destiny hasn't even released and you're already asking about a second? Confused

3 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika Matte9605: 8/11/2014 10:12:36 PMI sincerely don't think it should be called 'Destiny 2' since it is (for me (at least)) just one, consistent world. "Expansions", new locations and so on could be added with patches. My point here is that I would be completely ok with it being called something near: 'Destiny: Mists of Dinklageoria' or, 'Destiny': 'The Golden Age' if you know what I'm saying. Something that "moves Destiny's universe forward" and not just creates a thing placed above our previous, precious game. Aka: (what I'm trying to say: is that) build upon what Destiny (1) is now.

1 OdpowiedźEdytowany przez użytkownika FairlySplendid: 8/11/2014 4:23:58 PMIt's in the Activision/Bungie contract that leaked May 2012. When Bungie refers to Destiny lasting "10 years" they are referring to the franchise. Contract: http://documents.latimes.com/bungie-activision-contract/ Article which mentions the franchise on the last page (pg 68) and also mentions the sequels in section titled "Generations" as well (also pg 68): http://ge.tt/1hDW9an/v/0

10 OdpowiedziThe first game hasn't even released yet. People are talking out of their ass. It's pure speculation. 10 year franchise is all bungie has said. Id be cool if they just gave us Destiny, and gave us expansions for years like WoW.
-
September 10th is the projected release date
-
1 OdpowiedźSo far, we know of only 2 DLC's that are included in the Collectors Editions of the game. Other than that is pure speculation. Nothing has been confirmed besides a 10 year plan, as far as I know.
