Of course they do, but some things just arent possible within the time constraints, hence the question dodging>. I'm sure they are fully aware of everyone's requests for these things.
P.S I don't think prox chat will happen, they mentioned this ages ago, saying how set they were against it. (I cant remember the source but it was legit) Would be nice if they did though.

It's not a simple task of hey lets pop that in, it will take time, and they are probably against it because of how rowdy halo players got, i dunno. But they reckon it ruins peoples experience

The defend the warsat(spike ball) has proximity detection. When a player is within range it adds that player to the mission. Therefore proximity chat is possible. They just have to whip up a class that includes a menu toggle for prox chat control on/off, the prox chat range and a max player prox chat value. They have a working chat "program" they have a working prox detector "program" they just have to remix the code in different ways to see what works.
