Should I delay my Marriage for Destiny launch?
Should I delay my Marriage for Destiny launch? I am getting married on September 9, and I can't decide to delay the marriage until October 1st in order for me to get my Destiny addiction fixed. Because the soon to be wife said, once she moves in the console has to go or she goes. Help me decide people!!!!!!!

DECISION: I DECIDED TO MARRY AND GIVE LESS TIME TOWARDS GAMING. THE MCAT IS COMING SOON AND MARRIAGE!!!!!!!

Consoles make great wedding gifts and if you get her one of her own then maybe you can convince her to move to the tower with you. Only 80% of that was a joke.

If the console goes when she moves in, then of course you should delay. At least spend your last few weeks with Destiny before you can never play it again.

2 OdpowiedziWell... while reading the title, I thought it was ridiculous to marry someone if you'd push them back just to experience the glitched rush that is the launch of most games. However, The end of the post there was just messed up for another reason. Why are you marrying someone who makes you completely abandon your hobbies? If a girl told me, ditch the guitar/games/etc or I go... I'd be a single man in a heart beat. You must really like this woman, or you are freaking insane to marry her. <<insert clip from the end of The Graduate>>

Have a Destiny themed wedding. You can wear a cool long cape like a boss, have your wife be an awoken, paint her ass blue. Record and upload to youtube. You'll be famous, for Halo, Bungie gave a couple who had a halo themed wedding special "recon" armor. They became well known around gaming circles. They were even featured in a Best Buy commercial. You should look into it.

So... by your own statement you'd be wasting ~$50 on something that will be thrown away a day later. Seems kinda pointless. 2. Why would you marry someone that gives you ultimatums like that? Unless you gave her one too? Like: "Her friends go or you go." EDIT: And 3, if you really love this woman and she isn't as horrible as you make her sound, then what would you rather do. Spend the planned magical moment with her that you'll remember forever or be there for a game that will have zero meaning in your life 5 years from now.
