Do you think Bungie could reinvent Marathon?
I was just thinking about what Bungie could do post-Destiny (yes, I know that's a million years away) and remembered Marathon! They could do something like what Thief recently went through, with its story reimagined and game world improved to fit modern gaming standards. I for one think this would be rad. How would you feel about something like this?

Isn't it called Halo? From what I recall, Halo took [u]heavy [/u]inspiration from Marathon, to the point of including a symbol from the game(s) in the Halo franchise.

I posted an idea a while back hoping they could do that. It would be sort of a mini-game like Far Cry 3 blood dragon but with added multiplayer. I also thought that getting certain achievements/trophies should be able to unlock special items in Destiny.

It's already been confirmed Bungie will release a new Marathon game. It was in the leaked Activision contract.

It's already happening as we speak. Activision's contract with Bungie detailed that while working on Destiny, they are allowed to commit 5% of the company to work on the Marathon reboot.
