I would have edited this into the original thread, but that account was compromised, so I cannot edit that topic anymore. (I am trying to get it back.)
For those of you who haven't taken an advanced biology course, there is a chromosome in your body called Chromosome M, aka the "maturity" gene. It stays dormant from the moment you are born and usually activates when you reach the age of late 16 or early 17. When it does activate, it acts as a catalyst for multiple changes in your body, including activating areas of the brain that promote rational thought and logical decision making. But until this gene is activated, there is no real way you can be mature. You may think you at mature, but your view of reality is skewed because you are still relying on emotions. This is the underlying factor behind why I think there should be a fee for kids under 17.
Now there are some adults that do act very immature, that does not discount what I am saying. Just as a person with leukemia has a low white blood cell count, there are people who have a chromosome M deficiency or a delayed activation. In fact, I had a chromosome M deficiency until recently, when the doctors injected artificial chromosomes into my body. I immediately noticed a change in my thinking. (in fact, you can look at the nature of my threads on bungie.old. They are definitely more hostile than the threads I make now. they show a great change in maturity.) So if you are over 17 and people still call you immature, then go see a doctor and ask about chromosome M injections.
Sorry, I'm getting away from the topic at hand. I want everybody to have fun playing Destiny, but at the same time I do not want people to ruin the experience for others. Which is why I suggested the fee. It serves the double purpose of making more money for bungie, and encouraging parents to monitor their children's behavior, since they are putting extra money into them. I hope this cleared things up.

4 OdpowiedziI've already taken biology honors and I didn't hear anything about a maturity gene, but I did learn about the FAP gene.

Well look i read both topics, the only thing i disagree with is the fee. I think there could be other ways to do this, right now both sony and microsoft (other companies too, this are examples) are giving more options for people to manage their online experience, microsoft did the new reputation feature that acts as a meter to let players know how a player acts. While this example is somewhat "lame" it shows that companies are working on ways to give players a chance to join a better social experience. I personally think that there are at least some younger gamers (13-19) that are at least more mature on the community, but the mayority of gamers out there that act immature regardless of age. I have been targeted by other people in multiplayer games because of my country of origin, and i can assure that they were adults. Hopefully in the future they could improvise the matchmaking in new ways for players to find good communities or from the community itself to decrease their immature ways to others, like many kids who parents dont seem to control. I agree and disagree with some of your points but i understand the reasons.

I would agree with this emotionally, but I am young, so it would seem counter-productive. I can, however, safely agree with you from a logical standpoint because you are correct in this statement. I am definitely immature in some ways, but possibly too mature in others. An example of this is that while I can type this with almost complete certainty that I spelled everything correctly, I am never able to talk to anyone face-to-face, save anyone I already know. On Live I am a completely different person than I am here. For starters, I can actually speak freely on Live- if not a bit reluctant to start chatting with someone twice my age. Now look at me- I'm repeating the same thing as this post. *sigh* Many kids my age and younger are annoying, their voices get on my nerves, and they are usually bad players- this from a point of pure fact. They mess around when you're trying to do something in a game, but that is because they are kids- it's what they do. It's not like you didn't knock stuff over or annoy your parents when you were younger, at least sometimes. If anyone took the time to read this, at least I know you probably read the above topic, so congrats- you are now smarter. If you did read this, please tell me if there's any error in my statement or any over-usage of characters. (This is because I'm still trying to get better at thinking logically and making my words hold more power. I'm told it will definitely help with college or some such future application.)

I like this idea a lot actually, for the most part. I think it should give strikes. Not all kids, or even most kids, annoy people they are playing with. Many of them don't own mics and are just sitting there playing the game. The strike would be low-tolerance. You can get voted against by you game members and the game will kick you if enough vote. to prevent corrupt votes bungie could review the game info later and provide consolation if the vote was corrupt.

Youre always talking about all these different things that will ruin destiny, but in reality, you're going to be the only thing ruining it with all you're nonsense restrictions!

8 OdpowiedziThis an extremely retarded idea. I mean really? How would you react if you were saaay 14 and you know how mature YOU are then you see some dumbass trying get a fee already on top of the game's price? I would be pissed as hell. When I was 12 I started puberty and I became very mature at 12! I'm fairly certain that im not the only one that has become mature before 17. Whats your gamer tag (if you have one) I would to talk to you.

1 OdpowiedźSo how about this? Bungie *instead of charging extra money* requests your birthday when you play, and groups you up with accounts of that similar age? Solution fixed. I don't want to play with any whiny kids and to be honest I'd rather them not want to play with me also.

I don't think anyone under 18 should be allowed to play online regardless of how mature they are. I think little kiddies ruin the online experience for everyone.
-
What you say can make sense to a degree, but if you were indeed injected with something, it was more likely a hormone injection, because the gene you describe is more than likely the one that tells the body when to introduce hormones to our system....hormones trigger all changes including thought process. A more apt way of describing what you're talking about is a hormone deficiency.

These threads really annoy me... But also make me lol.

Give up it's already confirmed that there will not be any fee of any kind

Then just Block,Report, or Mute those immature players and continue your experience. There really isn't much need in asking something that will never happen as it's been like this for a long time so you won't be able to change people. If they wanna be immature let them... You can't control people and people should be able to freely express their own individuality so please stop...
