Destiny should have an exclusive nametag system that requires users to use their real names (first, middle initial, and last). This would get rid of the problem of trolls hiding behind their anonymity. This would also require that they include their phone numbers on their profiles.
Edit: to verify the ID, social security numbers would also be required.

HOOOOOOOOOOOLY SHIT DUDE This is the third post from you that I have read in 5 minutes where you are once again bitching and moaning and coming up with these incredibly ridiculous ideas. You know there are games where you don't have to worry about these kinds of things. Ever hear of board games?

1 OdpowiedźI'm down for that. It would definitely help. Can't use SSN though, that would be a personal security nightmare. Not safe to use your social security number for this.
-
My real name is afrodan.

Yeah with Sony's already great history of protecting their users identity and credit card info, lets make it easier for people to steal other's lives.
-
And all the non-trolls whose personal information is now out there for everyone to see. What happens to them?
-
Cause no ones going to stalk u

Also blood type, sexual orientation, and full genomic makeup should be visible on the bungie.net account
-
Yes and lets all wear nametags in public. That will make everyone's life better.

3 OdpowiedziTroll based in fantasy -5/42 Also it would be a pain for people with long names And what are people outside the US going to do for social security numbers? BUT people with proven track records as trolls should be forced to use their real name, and have their phone number on display... *nudge, nudge*

1 OdpowiedźDude it's a Videogame. The whole point is to play in a world that isn't real life. Why would you make people mandatorily play with their own names. Dumb idea.
-
Absolutely not
-
1 OdpowiedźAre you a stalker?
-
1 Odpowiedźlol Yeah let's just toss our social security numbers out there, no one could potentially hack and steal them or anything. It's bad enough that all they really need is our name and birth dates.
-
2 OdpowiedziCan I have your real name and seek out you and your family? ;)
-
While I think the real name thing would be really dumb, adding individual character names to each toon would be cool. Because I personally hate my PSN ID and Sony won't allow me to change it, and I liked the naming system for DCUO and stuff similar to it.
