Are you a fan of Planetside 2??? This sounds a lot like that system, enough that you might be thinking of that game instead of Destiny. Sorry, but I don't like it at all. (makes people be able to do cat ears, & WoW trademark items filling the game)

I played Panetside for almost ten minutes back in the day. One I realized it was pay-to-win the fun sizzled out for me, though. I've never played WOW either, so I've no idea about the system. If your worries about the ears ruining the immersion of the game, then I get that. I'd be fine with a hood or helmet with the same shape. It's all aesthetic for me.

Yeah, I really want Destiny to be great, so I really would like the engine to have a weapon crafting area, but past that, it would have to be customizable parts like forge so we wouldn't end up having cat ears.
