There is an army of 23 Fallen (10 Dreg, 6 Vandal, and 7 Captains) and they have spotted you. Your squad saw a group of 11 Fallen not too far away. Your squad is made up of 1 Hunter, and 3 warlocks. You are behind a hill with a crumbling building. No back up. There are cliffs and snowy hills, the pack is between them. How do you deal with them?

I would have the hunter run distractions to the sides, setting off explosions behind the hill. This would either confuse the enemy or draw them to the sound. This in turn would give the Warlocks an opportunity to do "magic artillery" which would cause multiple of the Fallen's ranks to break or kill some in collateral damage. Meanwhile, the Hunter is moving rapidly across the hill, taking precision shots at the Captains (if there are any left standing).

Edytowany przez użytkownika Zack Silver: 6/2/2013 8:55:20 AMOrder the squad to the crumbling building once in position seperate hunter and warlock into two two man cells, have the first squad hunter highest level warlock Draw the 26 to the building using the height to the advantage and use the sniper skills of the hunter to take out the captains first and the warlock to create mirage of the hunter to confuse return fire Squad Two: Warlock Warlock Draws the second squad of 11 with illusions to create cross fire and continue to draw them close into the crumbeling buildings and out the other side. While in the building the two warlocks switch illusions to mask the 11 cabal as guardians Squad one Warlock cast illusion on remaining cabal to mask them as guardians and hunter takes cover. As the 11 cabal break from the crumbling building they see a group of guardians and open fire, as the oncoming remaining cabal from the 1st squad open fire on what they think are guardian troops emerging from the building. As the shoots fly and ballistics ring out cabal kills canal until only one stands as the illusion fades and he relised what had happened the hunter fades into sight and a shot pierces the silence as the last cabal falls.

4 OdpowiedziNew Strategy: I kill all my squadmates and remove their arms. I then take the severed arms of my comrades and position them behind bits of rubble. In their hands I'll place the spare weapons of my late dismembered squadmates. I now have the illusion of a well fortified building with many allies. As the Fallen cautiously approach, I sneak away to safety.

Have the 3 warlocks cover in front and the hunter cover the back

17 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika Link of Origin: 5/29/2013 3:22:52 AMHave the Warlocks set up magic traps all along the hill so that if any Fallen get close they will get blown away. Once the bomb traps are set, double-check that your enemies are in about the same position. (Let's assume the building hasn't crumbled to the point that the second story isn't inaccessible) The Hunter takes a sniping position on the highest floor of the building and takes aim. The Warlocks prepare to use a combined magic that they will charge and wipe out most of the army. Once the Warlocks are ready, the Hunter takes the first shot. Instantly the Fallen turn and start rushing the Guardians' position. After a few more drop from the Hunter's shots, the Warlocks unleash a large ball of combined magic into the Fallen masses. Now just over half of the initial 23 Fallen are wiped out. The Warlocks spread out a bit and start shooting off single bolts of magic and using their weaponry to pick off the Fallen as they continue their progress towards the hill. About 8 Fallen are left, but now the extra 11 have been called in. The Hunter turns and begins taking out some Fallen from the group of 11 while the Warlocks take out 3 more from the initial group. Now there are 5 Fallen marching up the hill, only to hit the traps that were placed earlier. 3 go down quickly, but 2 make it to the Guardians. Close-combat ensues. The Hunter now has the group of 11 down to 7, but those 7 are about to start marching up the hill as well. The Warlocks take down one Fallen in close-quarters, but the other has a Warlock pinned to the ground. The other two Warlocks tackle it to the ground and fill it with enough lead to effectively double its body weight. The 7 that were encroaching from the hill are now 5... now 4 as another hits a well-placed trap. The Warlocks rush into the building and hold off at the doorway, the Hunter still taking advantage from their higher position, though now having switched to a more appropriate weapon (from the sniper). 2 more Fallen go down, 3 left, but they are closing on the doorway. A Warlock tosses an explosive near the doorway and he joins the other two as they rush up the staircase. One thinks quickly and tosses a small magic trap on the staircase itself. Now all four Guardians are on the upper floor. One Fallen charges up the staircase and triggers the trap. The staircase crumbles and he is crushed under rubble. 2 Fallen left. One leaps up to the second floor while one remains below for some odd reason. No time to think. The Fallen rushes into the room with the Guardians, somehow avoiding too many bullet wounds. Almost immediately he grabs the Hunter by the throat, lifts 'em up, and pins them against a wall with a blade inches from their face. One Warlock shoots at the Fallen's legs and brings it to it's knees. The Hunter gives it a quick one-two, but the second punch has a knife that pierces right through the Fallen's skull. Pulling the knife out, the Hunter kicks the dead Fallen's body to the ground... and as he slumps against the floor, the ground simultaneously falls out with a violent explosion. Amidst the dust, one Warlock is in bad shape, leaning against a wall with a piece of rubble pinning their leg. The other three get up without too much difficulty, searching for the last Fallen. Suddenly one Warlock is whisked into the thickest part of the dust and a fist fight can be heard. The other two Guardians slowly creep in, using their hearing as their primary sense. Then the Warlock already locked in combat with the Fallen is tossed into the Hunter and they both fall to the ground as the Fallen rips open the chest plate of the still-standing Warlock causing a significant amount of bleeding. The Warlock drops to his knees gasping and screeching in pain. The other two Guardians jump to their feet and charge the Fallen, now the dust has settled enough for sight to be useful. But this Fallen is prepared. With a slight side-step he throws the Hunter over an outstretched leg and grabs the other Warlock just before he can land a punch. This Fallen is not like the others. A double-take by all the Guardians confirms that this one is a Captain. The Warlock and Fallen Captain ensue in a violent fist/blade fight, trading shots fairly evenly until the Captain uses two arms to simultaneously punch the Warlock in the chest throwing him across the room to be knocked out as their head hits the remains of a wall. The Hunter is still down, seems to be a concussion. The Fallen walks confidently over to the Warlock attempting to use magic to at least close the massive chest wound. Pulling out a small, but sharp, knife the Captain prepares to end the Warlock's misery. *POP* The Captain falls to the ground with a stream of blood coming out the side of its head. Apparently the Warlock leaning against the wall with their leg pinned still had hold of their trusty pistol. Sitting in silence for what seems to be the longest 10 minutes possible, they begin to gather themselves. Thankfully with three Warlocks, healing goes smoothly and everyone begins checking bodies for supplies, souvenirs, and ensuring that none of the Fallen will be seeing another day. The Guardians return to the Last City with a good haul. A pretty successful operation considering the odds. Not one life lost... not one that mattered at least. While departing the ship they all turn to go their separate ways as they leave off with the first and last words since the start: "Be Brave."

5 OdpowiedziSend 2 Warlocks to a high ground and have them spam offensive magic and the Titan and 3rd Warlock watch his six, and heal him when needed. Then make the Warlocks burn the bodies to get rid of the evidence to avoid all out war with Fallen.

1 OdpowiedźEdytowany przez użytkownika jkamelo: 5/30/2013 11:36:42 PMMove towards the group of 11 Fallen, baiting the group of 23 to follow us. Have the warlocks cast an illusion on the 11 Fallen so that they see the larger group as Guardians. Get to a safe location, observe the two teams wipe each other out in a confused mess, pick off stragglers. ???? Profit

3 OdpowiedziHave your hunter rush up into the crumbling building as your warlocks go for the space ship. Have the hunter start sniping the fallen, baiting them into the building and when most of them have gotten inside, have the ship pick up the hunter off the roof and then blast the building, collapsing it on top of the fallen. Exterminate stragglers. Death to the Fallen via a fallen structure
-
Send one warlock to get your spaceship, the other two fire down area of effect/high damage spells while. The hunter makes shore that none of the enemy get to close, the warlock comes back, picks you up with the ship, you charge in guns blazing and hope to either pick up the other guardians or kill all the enemy.
-
Try to drive the fallen off the cliff like the Spartans did to the Persians in 300.
-
I'm loving all of these.
-
I would most likely use 2 warlock to give covering fire and pull aggro while the hunter and the 3rd warlock move to a vantage point where the hunter could try and tip the scales more into our favor.
-
Get the hunter to snipe the captains while the one warlock attacks from the front and the other two pincer in around the sides, while the hunter continues to layer sniper cover, until they are all dead... Then go and find the other fallen
-
Give suppresive fire while retreating, once the squad reached a defendable position, bunker in and kill all that attempt to approach.
-
but at the end, we don't need strategy, just shoot and scare the hell out of them (if they're like grunts in Halo)
-
warlocks hold the fallens position, the Hunter(which I hope is me) run, take a spaceship or a pike, then, shoot the crap out of those ba****d!!!!
-
That place probably doesn't have the best cover, retreating then setting somewhere stronger is fine in my book.
-
As a Hunter, use my sniper rifle to confuse the Fallen and make them think that they're attacking each other. Then sit back and watch the show...
