Opposite joystick controls
On March 8 2026 when playing destiny 1 my controls switched. Instead of moving with the left joystick and looking with the right. It now moves with the right and looks with the left. I can no longer run and I can’t even play the game. Tried logging out and shutting down. Still same issue. All other games are fine. Even destiny 2. Star_intuition

Hi there, Thank you for reaching out. Your stick layout might have switched in Destiny 1 rather than a hardware issue. On your console, try: Launch Destiny 1 and go to your Settings. Open Controller / Look (or similar) and check Stick Layout. Change it back to Default (instead of Southpaw, Legacy, or Legacy Southpaw). Also make sure Button Layout is set to Default, so sprint is back on the usual stick/button. After applying those settings, your left stick should move and right stick should look again, and sprint should work normally.
