Basically the title. I've been trying to verify on a f2p account for the past week. I get the same message everytime, "An unexpected error has occurred on Bungie's servers while trying to grab Destiny information. (1618)". I've looked up the exact error and have tried everything suggested about clearing cache and trying a different browser. I have also tried 3 different valid phone numbers. I would really like a way to resolve this considering i can't play the raids.
