So Marathon aestically is amazing, but who asked for an extraction shooter, what waste of time and resources that could've been used on what the people want, *cough* *cough* DESTINY 3!
Marathon Review
So I would say I put about 6 hours into the server slam, I kept up with the game cause well it was a Bungie game. I had hope for it, love the looks and the environment, but it's an extraction shooter, and well Marathon doesn't really bring anything crazy to the table.
Graphics look stellar, guns feel good, sound design is phenomenal, but is the game fun, NO.
I already refunded my pre-order lol, but the game was very slow, and after playing, the whole vibe and look to this game does not fit the extraction genre, you are a runner and it's the slowest game I have ever played, this is a pvpve game right, well I think Bungie forgot the PVP, finding an enemy feels like I'm running a MARATHON around the map to find someone. I think I'm upset the most about what we could have had with all this dev time used on this game. Crucible actually getting the love it needs, a new Destiny game, but nope we got a slow extraction shooter that I don't think will last until May. Hopefully that emergency button has already been pushed or I think it's gonna get ugly these next few years.
Overall I think if you like Extraction games, you might like this. Try the slam first before making judgments.

Would have been an easy win with enormous revenue I cant stand Big deal Bungie management
