Eventually D1 was going to end. 😭 Just setting expectations for the roadmap. Eventually OG Xbox One and PS4 was going to be deprecated. I predict negativity for both. D1 is 10 yrs old... it's not free to keep a game running, it's been kept alive for 7 yrs beyond RoI. I don't think older consoles can run the new version of the Tiger Engine. Why Marathon is not available for either original Xbox One or PS4. They're not going to run and maintain 2 server architectures for 1 game... that being D1. And they definitely can't justify recoding D1 to run on dedicated servers. If there is a delay that could be as soon the next expansion around September.
